The second most expensive involves hands. The most expensive option (I think it's still under 300 RMB) can involve everything. The front desk staff likely speak enough English- I've seen foreigners chilling out in robes playing XBox and watching TV and very likely enjoying the services of the young ladies there. The only negotiations occur with the girl herself, so make sure you bring some cash upstairs with you, if you really want to make sure everything goes smoothly, but I'm not sure it's even necessary. Best bet is to find a girl you dig and build a good rapport with her.

Some of the details of the report will be redundant for those who have gone to Water Way before. Please bare with me for the newbie's that maybe interested.

Depending on which way you come from, the Water Way Spa is located next to an off ramp from a highway.

Arrived at the facility and was greeted by some very nice girls asking what I was up for. I said I wanted a massage, they give me one of those keys with a number on it and proceeded to ask me to take the elevator to the 4th floor. After arriving at the lockers, the boys took my clothing and shipped me to next floor. I completely bypassed the "spa" facilities and headed right up to the 8th floor. I asked for number 188 as BoyNick recommended but she had the day off. The attendant recommended me girl 290 from Xian. Saying the usual blah blah blah about her service and how popular she was. Not wanting to wasted time being my first time visiting, I said ok. The attendant told me to wait a few minutes while they setup the room. Only bring some much cash, I asked how much. The price has been raised from 498 to 580 be / see of the Canton Fair. Service charge % did not change.

So after a few minutes of waiting, I was taken up to the room, another elevator ride up to the 11th floor where my girl greeted me. She proceeded to take me to the room. The room is small and dark with a Japanese style bed. My girl asked me to undress and proceeded with the veggie part of the massage. The girl was very chatty and friendly. After 15 minutes or so, she said, she needed to leave the room to get some "supplies" for the next part of the massage. After a few minutes she came back with two cups of water, for what I assume is the cat bath, fire & ice BJ, etc. Her friend walked in and asked if I wanted a 3p. I said no but later asked my girl what 3p included. She said just two people do all the same stuff as below but only 1 CIM not 2. The price is 780 + service charge of 10.

As such, my first preference is to find some place close by, perhaps even walking distance. I am looking for a massage + CBJ experience (more would be better, but this is the minimum I am hoping to find). Any advice? Or do I have to travel further?

Also invest in a good quality map or directory, some of the directories and maps are in Chinese and English and include bus routes and subways.

You could read some posts and mark potential places to visit on the map or directory and see how they pan out against public transport or, if nearby, either for walking or taxi.

Sad to report, that Ocean Hotel Sauna Center is no longer in existence. It looks like they have renovated and the 4th floor is now a conference center. When I arrived a wedding was in progress on 4F. After wandering all over trying to find the Sauna Center, the hotel staff informed me that their only massage now was an arm massage available at the Salon the 1st floor.

Disappointed, I considered heading to a Sex Shop that was right next to the Ocean Hotel, but the place looked quite seedy so I passed.

Instead I headed to the Waterways Hotel. Not knowing a word of Mandarin or Cantonese, nor understanding the system (which I should have understood having read this forum) , I looked like an idiot there. After getting my wrist band and heading to the 4th floor changing area, and putting my clothes into the lockers, I wasn't sure what I should do. One of the male staff there took me to the massage area and showed me a price list for various massage offerings on the 4th floor. I could tell they were standard massages being done by the male staff. After repeatedly saying "spa" and being met by bewildered glances, they directed me to a set of lockers where I changed from my towel to the standard pajamas. They then pointed to another elevator that led to the higher floors. I think I went to the 11th floor where I was met by the spa staff. They showed me a variety of massages and more elaborate multi-hour spa experiences. I didn't know if one or all would lead to a happy ending, so I went with one of the more expensive RMB798 + 10% service charge packages. I felt like I probably way overpaid, but I did get a nice exfoliation treatment, good length massage, a bath in the jacuzzi, followed by another full body massage and HE. The HE was okay, not great. I was happy I got something, given the failure at the Ocean Hotel, but I knew I wasn't coming back here.

The next day, I headed out to the Deyi Sauna. I knew understood the procedures a little better. They didn't show me any options, but figured they knew what I wanted and asked me to pay RMB398 up front. For this, a nice young girl (probably a 6 or so in the looks department) , gave me a nice full body and nuru massage, licked all over, rimming, prostate massage, followed by CBJ, and Full Service. Another nice massage followed, after which I felt the need for round 2. I was motioned to pay another RMB300, to which I complied. Round 2 was even better. I was satisfied and plan to repeat here.

Overall, I have no idea whether I got a good value or did the right things, etc. But I thought I did well for not really understanding the system or being able to speak a word of Mandarin. Hope this review is of some help.

Will be staying close to the airport, I know that there are many places for a full service massage further in the center. There is a good chance no time to go there but I may be able to in one month from now.

I am looking for a outcall service or massage service close to the Pullman Hotel. Anyone know of a place or number?
