[/QUOTE]What discos' have to do with go-go bar? In a disco I'm never pressured for drinks and I approach anyone that I like, for a length of time that is up to me. Plus, I can dance if I like or just hang out. Try that in any kind of bar? All and any of the few great finds I've had in the years have been in a disco, except one or two girls that were in the street stumbling back home.

Which is just good.[/QUOTE]From my experience discos will pressure certain clientele for drinks and there has been notorious cases in the past where Indians were turned away from bars for not purchasing a single can of coke despite being a group of 6-10. Also discos have distasteful practice of charging locals less for drinks. The disco is great for dodging bar fines and getting a hottie for close to beach prices. The downside to the disco is it can be a sausage fest and girls out with their friends may want to party and drink at night. Discos are great for pump and dump but terrible for a serious girlfriend. Who would trust a girl exposed to the disco 3- 5 nights a week. The party girl vibe wears Schick / vibe wears thin after a few weeks.

I never barfine anymore unless its for a soi 6 short time other than that I pick up freelancers from nightclubs for half what the gogo girls ask. I still go to gogos early in the night before nightclubs are busy but if I bought a girl a lady drink I expect to see some tits and her grinding in me.

If I am right a beer at Lucifer costs 150 baht? Ever see what the same pint costs at a 7/11 or even an open beer bar?

If you have been having a good time in discos, then good for you. I am not looking to convince anyone of my views and opinions and I am not about to change them either.

The main attraction of a Gogo bar is the opportunity to see several good looking girls with little or no clothes on for the price of a drink. But as wise men would concur, this is how it all starts. A few people like you and some others on this forum not barfining from Gogo bars will not alter their financial fortunes. They have other patrons with deep pockets to keep them going. Plus, many Gogo bars are plain fronts for other activities.

I've been to Pattaya three times now. All three trips were in the Jan-Feb time frame. Currently, I'm planning a trip with my best friend there in mid-July. Can some of the expats in the area give me a rough estimate of how many fewer working girls will be in the gogo's and Soi 6 bars at that time?

Will there be 30% less girls roughly? That seems to be the area most people hint at, but I've never seen any straight answers.

I'm not worried about having a good time and finding girls. It's Pattaya! I'm just curious about the differences between my usual travel dates and this July.

Funny side note: I'm not going to tell my friend which girls aren't really girls. It's his first time to Thailand. It's going to be hilarious watching him try to figure it out. (I wouldn't do this usually, but my friend is very mild-mannered) I'll make sure to post reports of our adventures!

I'm also thinking of staying at the Pattaya Blue Sky since my last hotel was a disappointment. If you disagree with the choice, let me know.

This time I'm trying to just get freelancers off Tinder and get them to come to my hotel. Seems like the short time rate has jumped to 1 k with some lookers wanting 1500.

Had a session with a 20 year old with great tits called Mind. She couldn't come to my hotel because she lost her ID card so I went to her bar which was just off Soi Buakow. The bar was called Pinup bar and its down a little alley off Soi Buakow, opposite Saswadee Hotel. She gave a real GFE experience and lovely BJ skills. Damage was 1 k and 300 BF. Once again staying at Areca which is good value for money but the internet is terrible.

[/QUOTE]I'm pretty sure that Insomnia charges the same for locals and falang. Those fuckers are mercenary. There is a discount card, but anyone can get one.

Yes they can be a sausage fest. And they are not a sure thing. But if you have a little game and patience you can do some good work there.

I do repeat with girls and develop relationships. I'm not lookign for pump and dump but more for a friends with benefits relationship on a p4 p basis. You can still have an emotional connections but you know that there are boundaries and limits. At the end of the day I know what she is doing behind my back and that she has every right to do it if I am not sponsoring her. I don't sweat it because I am doing the same when she is not around.

Entire economies (at least ones the books), can be counted down to the last penny. Second, Pattaya / Bangkok get a lot of punters coming in from online forums (not so much this one). There are many punters who use reports to determine if their next trip is worth it or not, that is if they don't already have friends who go there regularly to ask. When people were saying how awesome Pattaya was because you could get a new hot 20 year old GF every night, all night, for $40, it certainly generated some hype and got people packing their bags. If that is true, I don't see why the inverse wouldn't be true (people avoiding coming when they see reports about the prices being much higher and girls being older).

When you add hotel prices and how far your hobby dollar goes, I am guessing the following:

Too expensive:

Japan.
Singapore.
South Korea.
Hong Kong.

Comparable but is it worth the difference in baht saved:

Malaysia*.
Indonesia*.
Vietnam*.
Philippines*.

A cheaper possible alternative:

Cambodia (Phnom Penh).

*I haven't been to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, or Philippines yet and don't follow their prices closely.

Cambodia is a major drop off compared to Thailand. You see more fatties / chubbier in Thailand than PP. A lot of the diehards will tell you differently but The Phils is more dangerous. If you care about safety Patts beats the P. I. The Phils is better for men over 50 years old. If you're on sub $50 a day budget the Phils and Colombia are hard to beat. PP FL were the worst looking I seen in Asia.

I mean, we're all fairly active at this hobby. But I imagine the majority of sex tourists actually only allocate an optional portion of their time to this hobby and are OK with not even getting on the plane at all. The thought of not going to Pattaya at all and just visiting the asian massage parlors crossed my mind many times when I lived in America. As the girls there are Korean / Chinese and are much better looking than average so they're pretty hot (but I digress, that's really getting off topic). Considering the airfare and hassle of traveling, I wouldn't really be that keen on going back to Pattaya if I already lived in America, unless the price in America also went up a lot too.

I really pity these old scrappy buggers in shorts and Chang beer a-shirt, sipping already at 11 am in open bars.
