For what it's worth. If you are checking in luggage they will print it gratis. At least Spirit did when I checked in my luggage.

Even the Centro love hotels have printers. Ask and you shall receive, worst case is you might have to hand over 5k or so.

Spirit won't charge you for not having printed boarding passes when leaving from Medellin.

I have flown out of Medellin dozens of times without printed boarding passes and never a charge.

I hate everything about Spirit, except their schedule from the east coast of the USA.

Quick question. How weird, culturally would it be in Medellin for a man in his late 30's to meet the family of a twenty two year old? I haven't banged this chica (she's flaquita which is a turn off) but she won't leave me the fuck alone. I usually try to do one night with her and her friends at some club. I don't mind buying a bottle and enjoy the dancing and socializing.

She's been on my case almost a year now to go meet her family.

Isn't it a bit weird? I'm almost twice her age.

Most hot Colombian women date down. Most colombianas are prettier than their boyfriends are handsome. What would be weird is if you were actually more handsome than she is pretty. LOL!

I have told the story many times before of my exgirlfriend in Cali. We originally met in 2006. She was born in 1990. I was 34 that year. I told her hell no. Give me a call when you are 18. She protested saying her parents would not care. I said but I care. She called me on her 18th birthday. I would always go to Cali and her parents insist that I stay at their house instead of a hotel. Of course I had to sleep on the couch though. In the day her dad would go off to work and her mom stayed home with her sewing business. She would cook us three meals a day and sometimes we would go off to a motel saying we were going to the mall or movies or something.

It all fell apart when she wanted to get married without visiting my country first. No way I would uproot someone that did not speak English, could not drive, and had never been away from home before, without first testing the waters and giving them the survival skills they would need to live in a foreign country. She is now married to a guy her age from Cali and has one kid. We are still friends. She has invited me to come meet her new family but I always decline the invitation telling her if I go to Cali it will be to fuck and not just to meet and greet.

Sleep now, bed at 1 am last night, up at 5:30 for drive to Miami airport from St Pete (3-1/2 hrs to get there, then 1 HR to go the last 15 miles in rian!) them flight to MED, then the Mr Toads Wild ride from the airport on the bus, then Barre Ex. + FaseII. 1/2 sandwich on ride down to MIA. So glad the restaurant around the corner is 24 h.

Her boyfriend is several years older than her and is one of her college professors. I've met him too. Her family loves him.

I'm sure it varies from family to family, but Colombian families view these things differently. Here, having friends of the opposite sex, in a different age bracket is not strange. Here it would be weird if a friend didn't meet the family.

But, there is always the question of her motive. Does she just try to socialize with you every time, or does she try to push you to fuck her? Is she constantly trying to get you to treat her like a novia, or does she just want to have fun?

If she treats you like a friend, she probably has told her family all about you and they want to meet the nice gringo friend. If she treats you like a boyfriend, she has probably told her family you are her boyfriend and they want to meet you.

The weird part is in your head. What you need to figure out is how the girl sees you. Are you just a fun friend? Are you a potential sugardaddy? Are you boyfriend or husband material?
