The Radisson New World Hotel more or less turned into the Official Guest House of the Shanghai Government during the EXPO, because it is not far from Shanghai's 'Zhongnanhai'. Many "gan bu"s staying there, and the parking lot is frequented by cars with Government or Military license plates.
I assume that they take things even more serious there, for the time being.

Hi D,
Jinjiang Sofitel (Pudong) has a sauna called Dream Spa at the back. Walk out the front entrance, turn left to go around to the side of the hotel. You should be able to see the Spa. Damage is rmb760 for FS. Standard service (catbath, AR, BBBJ, FS). YMMV for once or 2-times. Lineup is okay; but note I haven't been back there in months since moving to Puxi side.

If you want the 'deluxe' treatment, go right instead of left at reception, private suites (real bed, shower, tub, sex chair, etc.). You do everything in the room, no locker/shower/waiting room routine. Not sure what the damage is though (my friend paid that day).

On a recent trip to Shanghai, I was directed to a sauna that had been mentioned on the forum infrequently in the past, but not recently. Usual Sauna scene, good lineup and then shower, soapy, red rope (which I turned down, once is enough). Rooms were clean enough and large enough. Good experience, 800 rmb, didn't notice the duration but wasn't hurried. It was a daytime visit and the place was not crowded.
Also visited a massage place on Guilin Lu, past its intersection with Wuzhong Lu. There is a row of three or four of these places and all had girls in miniskirts standing near the entrances. I walked into one called 368, I believe. Asked for a massage, was directed upstairs and a busty girl came up shortly.
