Before it seemed the chicks could at least pull the wool over your eyes making you think they are classy. These days it is just pure hood rattish and it is obvious the chicks you are dealing with. I went to both 4X4 and T65. Speaking Portuguese I had a good time in the boates talking shit. In 4X4 it was apparent that the chicks were drink monsters. Some guys who were probably corporate cats were in there with 4 bottles of expensive liquor. The chicks were around them drinking it up. Some chicks would go from table to table getting guys to buy drinks for them. When they came to us trying to pull that I had to decline. Soonafter they were at another table getting guys to buy drinks.
I did have fun with those chicks and even got one of them's whatsapp. She said it was her first day. I asked how old she was and she said she was 28 with a some month old baby. I asked if she was sure, because she looked older than 28. She did not even know the prices and had to go outside to ask. She came back and said 270 for 30 minutes and 390 for 1 hour. I contacted her that night and it seemed she had the game messed up. She wanted 300 plus round trip Uber. I told her that was too much. Hell, if I was going to pay that much then I would have just fucked her in the club. She dropped to 250 but I never answered her back.
The next day in 65, I also had a good time hanging out. We did not put on robes there. The lady in the dressing room told me I had to leave my back pack in the locker though. I told her if was full of rubbers that I am going to need though.
We went up to the boate and I asked for a menu. The 70 entrance covers comsumption, but I wanted to see what I was spending. They did not have menus. We ordered a caipirinha anyway. It was big as shit.
Some chicks were in attack mode as soon as we sat down. When the chick that was on my brother found out he did not speak Portuguese, she backed off and called another chick over that could speak a little English. She had obvious fake hair. She asked me what my name was and I responded by asking her what the name of her hair was. She started laughing and said Lacey Wiggy. That shit made me fall out. She said her hair is short and when it gets longer she will stop wearing it. We got into a discussion about what men and women like. I told her men did not give a shit about how long her hair was. She said she was doing it for herself. I said bullshit. Women do things men like and men do things women like. I told her that if women did not give a shit about money then I would never work another day in my life.
We were running out of time because my brother had to get back to get ready to go to the airport. So we took the chicks to the rooms for 1 hour. In the boate my chick was making a lot of noise. But when we got into the room she turned out to be an empty wagon. On top of that the a/c did not work and it got hot as hell. She told me we only had 10 minutes left and I picked up my phone and showed her the timer where it said 36 minutes left. It was damn hot though. She started drinking my drink.
Finished and got in the shower. Mf shower was hot as shit. Now if the room was cold there would have been no hot water. But with a hot room, there was only hot water. When I got out of the shower I opened the room door and left it open before putting my clothes on. I had to get some air.
Went back to the boate and I still had half of my drink left. My brother came down soon after and we went downstairs to leave. The lady was not in the dressing room so I swiped one of the robes and put it in my bag for my brother. No idea what size it was. I told him if it was too small then he could give it to his 9 year old son. Went to check out and the total was 355. I asked the lady why I had to pay the same as him when I am more handsome than him. No uber would accept so we ended up taking a taxi back to Copacabana.
Sidenote: I remember reading a recent report of a guy saying he took a chick out of 4x4 for 1000. I thought he meant he got her number and had her come later for that amount. But no. That is the 4 x4 listed take out price. Don't know what he was thinking with that one. None of the chicks that I saw at either termas was worth half that and they both did have actual 40 and 50 year olds.

I'm in the same camp. I love to 'talk shit' in the termas, and chat up the chicks, pretty fun when you are bored and want to kick the shit.
4 x4: first vibe was great. But then realized my ass gets WAY to drunk (I like having a fun time). Funny thing, I'm not against buying drinks etc. So I often rack up a tab. Two tabs at 4 x4 were 250-350 for JUST drinks. Every Terma I've gone to I've had two girls make out with me etc. Etc. Fun times. But I agree! After my drunk ass has realized these girls are FUCKING TRASH (sorry). 4 x4 is affordable compared to solarium.

Anyhow, I totally feel you on the classyness / looks of the termas chicas. I don't enjoy fucking 'dirty' chicks. I need some class, looks, youth, or freshness. It is out there, but fucking and spending shittons of money at the termas to get the Brazil experience is not it imo. Although you can make some connections and its a fun time. I remember my internal process during some of my recent terma trips. i've always wanted to leave initially not being attracted to the talent. i've also come the understanding these girls are pretty drop dead stupid. hence why it can be fun to 'talk shit' (very polite) and just have fun.... but when you realize that these girls are uneducated, have a bunch of free time (applicable if you have a long time in brazil) and have sort of programmed the way to deal with men, the interactions become pretty straightforward and easier.
I do think for the 'noobs' the more time you spend in the various arenas of putas you'll start to get the game and how these chicks operate and how they think. I've had a few cases in which 'hot' girls think they can ask me 600 or 3000 for all night... just hilarious.

As Mr E suggests by his comment that the talent is more hood rat level in the termas, I agree with a wingman from when I was living in Copa March 2020-July 2020 that we are going into a economic decline, at least a recession and more likely a depression. My wingman who was among a small group of 4 that congregated on Av Nossa Copa between P4 and P5, is an intelligent black man who has lived in Rio for 2+ years. His insight, which I agree with, is that we are going into a decline and Brazilians are more accustomed to living with less money than most other countries, especially the rich world, and especially North America. So, he concluded, ironically, Brazil is safer than rich world countries in North America, which I think was demonstrated by those months in which certain areas in North America were afflicted by race and economic riots while Brazil was not as badly impacted (or at least if you can live in a safer area like Barra P6, it seems that way).
That group of 4-5 comrades was not unlike the 5 mongers in the last third of the Amado novella, "The Two Deaths" . Among the group there was a chess genius, a guy who would challenge all comers to games of chess and give odds of 2-for-1. He would bring a table, and we'd play at Kice Sucos or one of those stands, and the rest of the gang would gather around. Maybe I would buy beers, or another guy would buy beers, and rotate it around. One guy was the investigator, who was really a functional drunk doing some kind of investigation / paralegal work for a Brazilian law firm that represents lots of little bars / small businesses, including that lapa irish bar. There was the monger -- not very active -- who I quote. I was the most active monger, along with a Caribbean on a short term trip of a few months who had gotten stranded.
Well, I see more indications that we are indeed going into an economic decline on a global basis, and of course there is pre and post endemic world / realities.
The declining quality of the terma girls being less classy is one indication. Professionals who I have known for years started saying in late 2019 that the RJ state is in horrible shape, financially.
There are the anectdotal reports on this board of thiefs rolling by a victim and snatching a expensive necklace.
I suspect that the trend continues lower, towards more economic stress as the year, and the next few years go on.
