That is a swing room. Two guys and two women go together to the room and can switch partners.
So, the one-hour programma in a simple room is 390 reals, but in a swing room - 520? That wouldn't be for 2 guys, right? In which case, the pricing is fucked up unless you prefer mini-orgies, IMHO. If I want 2 girls, I'd rather take two 30-minute programmas for 540 reals total.

The declining quality of the terma girls being less classy is one indication. Professionals who I have known for years started saying in late 2019 that the RJ state is in horrible shape, financially.
Do you think they go to work in SP Area or other richer countries?
When I was in Colombia, it was same, every year, level go down. And when I was in Spain, I found the gem I met in Bogota an Medellin working in puticlub in Madrid or Barcelona.
As Mr E suggests by his comment that the talent is more hood rat level in the termas, <snip>
Well, I see more indications that we are indeed going into an economic decline on a global basis, and of course there is pre and post endemic world / realities.

I suspect that the trend continues lower, towards more economic stress as the year, and the next few years go on.
I do not know where the world economies are heading. There are good arguments for expansion and equally good arguments for decline. I think we will just have to play it cautious and wait & see.
But if worldwide or just Brazilian economic conditions worsen, I would think the quality and quantity of good looking available girls to increase. The theory being that in an economic downturn many girls will lose their jobs and will need to bring home some money anyway they can.
In any case, I will be in Rio shortly and I will judge for myself what the current girly situation is. I am already at a slight disadvantage because I prefer girls with natural breasts, small butts, and thin thighs. Oh well! I still think I will do just fine.

There are the anectdotal reports on this board of thiefs rolling by a victim and snatching a expensive necklace.

I recall reading in the Argentina forum years ago that the writer was meeting professionals such as lawyers in the clubs due to the economic crisis there. Or, is this class of girls just going straight to the Internet?

I think there are quality women, but one needs to figure out what works for one, and how to collect your rolladex. Have been with a pretty cute chill down to earth woman for two nights. She's into it all. But some girls are hitn or miss. I've had the trash clothes (she lived in slums of jacara) and just girls who arent worth what I'm paying for. Brazilian chicas can be so liberal and relaxed with time. I don't think economic downturns etc. Will make a huge diff. There is pussy everywhere here. Just termas can be a deluding experiencing in which diamonds of course can be found. These girls operate on a day to day basis.
I dont think one can really expect girls to be generally classy... ive not been around the older days...

That is the same as how guys say they do not want to go to Thailand because all the girls are built like railroad tracks. We both know that is not true.
Are Brasilians prohibited from traveling to Europe during the Covid pandemic? I was wondering if there is a mass exodus after March like in the past? If there are travel restrictions to Europe, then I can postpone my trip to Rio until the curfew is lifted.
I honestly don't know.
It's chaos theory in action.
The broad trend over a decade is the rise of the middle class which hookers and their customers are part of; local richer men take the better talent.
2020 started a economic decline, partly due to the lack of tourists.
It's chaos, like breaking the rack in a pool game.
I think I'm the short term it gets more violent.

Maybe that's logical but it's not what is happening.

I cannot find the will-power to pull the trigger, I guess I am a Scaredy-Cat. I see videos and Brazilian news shows and it looks like the mask wearing (and social distancing) seems to be non-existent as though COVID does not exist.
The NYT article linked by The Cane is no joke. I must applaud the bravery of those (of the forum) who have traveled to and plan on traveling to Brazil in addition to those on extended stays. As Spock says. "Live long and Prosper".
I found this quote in the NTY article is telling "The immunity you get with your cemeteries running out of room, even that will not be enough to protect you..
I do not know when it will be a good time to travel maybe 4 QTR 21 or sometime 22. For Anyone on the sidelines when do you guesstimate when the coast to be clear to travel to Brazil?.
