If you go back half a year or so you will find plenty of information on all the subjects you mention.

However I agree with you there's quite a lot of off topic talk. But what is off topic for you is not necessarily off topic for me or other board members. And I think off topic talk is inevitable on a forum like this. Nevertheless I agree that if there was less off topic talk you wouldn't have to go back half a year to find what you're looking for. (But still a lot more than 5 weeks I think.).

I agree that it sucks if you come here only 2 weeks before your vacation and you have to go through 6 months of posts to find what you're looking for. But hey, why do you come here only 2 weeks before your vacation? If you read the forum on a regular basis it takes much less effort and time to collect useful information.

I live in Holland and a popular Dutch forum tried this. They tried to keep the forum on topic as much as possible by deleting or moving all off topic talk in the posts. Within a few months the forum almost died. People like to talk freely and don't like to see their posts deleted or edited all the time. The 'buddy buddy shit' as Socker calls it is important and makes the forum more fun. If all posts have to be strictly on topic a forum gets boring rather quickly.

Before my first trip to AC it took about three weeks of on and off reading to go through about 500 pages of reports. After that it has been easier to keep tabs on current talk.

Also, a lot of off-topic chatter gets put into perspective and you start to see the reason for its existence. ISG is not only a forum for exchanging info, it has grown to be a community of sorts.

Life here is "busy" with options. Bar prices are ranging from P2500 - P3800 in the bars I have enquired. Girl quality looks really good. Punter numbers are low. Usual groups of vets, Koreans, Indians etc.

South to Puerto Galera or Sbanang (ok, with diving spots).

Was walking past Phillies when I was approached to buy Cialis. The beach around Subic city is no very good diving for marine life is also poor but many wreck around since the Spanish American war and world war ii, I been to Boracay 18 yr ago but the tourist screw it up no good any more, Cebu is OK not great you really need to go away from the Tourist place nice Palawan or Bohol Panglo island have nice beach not many tourist.

If you short in time go to Batangas, white beach or Alona beach is OK not great just short trio from Manila just 3 HR bus and ferry.
