For those of you who do internet dating, what do you do when the girl says she wants to bring her friend along?
Do you drop her?
Do you tell her "ok" and try to work the friend also?
What is the reason for this childish tactic these girls play? I don't get it.
This topic has been covered before, and the advice is split.
I've had both good and bad outcomes meeting friends / chaperones. My answer is yes, but make them feel like you are allowing it rather than they are getting there way. Absolutely no mothers, and suggest cute friends instead.
Rather than assume it is "childish", I suggest you think that it is common sense. A regular gal doesn't just go out alone and meet an unknown foriegn man, duh.

Maybe, just maybe, she is a little scared of meeting some foreign guy in a strange place (or his hotel room) and wants a little "back up" just in case, or maybe she is trying to find a way to "earn" a little money for her friend also. And depending on how far away she has to come, maybe just to have a traveling companion. I agree about no family members...unless of course they plan to join in the fun!

I guess in a sense you are correct in that every lady will have their own personal reasons, some of which may overlap. It wasn't my intention to detail the reason for every lady, not insinuate that I had all the answers. I guess it was done a little TIC, because to be honest, I felt the overriding reason should be self-evident.
Heck, I have spent a lot to time just trying to figure out "feminine motovation" on a simple level....with VERY limited success,I might add. This is WAY above my skill level! :-D

as others have mentioned there are a number of different reasons.
the most common would be that its a relatively young or inexperienced girl who has not met any or at least many foreign guys before. often these girls are not intending to have sex and the partner is intended as a chaperone to insure that. meeting a foreigner is considered something of a treat especially of it involves pizza or jollybees so she may also be keen to share the experience with a friend.
as others have said if it is a cute girl about her age it maybe acceptable, if it is mum or aunty it will kill the atmosphere.
some girls like to bring along gay/ladyboy friends. in my experience this is to be avoided. tghe gay/lb will more often than not be attempting to financially exploit the situation by eg trying to negotiate a large taxi fee to get lost. there may also be a scam involved eg setting you up with an **** girl and threatening to call the police if you dont pay him off. the gay /lb may or may not have been involved in your original dialogue for example many gays/lbs chat/email on behalf of girls or substitute a girl if you say you dont like lbs etc. one way or another they are always trouble at least in my experience.
the third more promising scenario is a more experienced girl who is trying to maximise revenue by bringing along a friend for a threesome.
i usually tryto clarify the matter by asking whether the friend (a) 100% real girl with no extra bits (b) her age and slimness etc and (c) whether she is also open minded about being fucked.

I assumed you were equating "earn" with prostitution, but after reading your message I think you were suggesting "opportunities".

unlike their western counterparts who are ready to go alone to the bar to hook up, asian regular girls are not emotionally secure. they feel more safer if they have a friend or family to meet a guy whether it is a philippino or foreigner. i do not think they are afraid of being raped especially in philippines.
irrespective of how naive they come across they know their rights and will assert themselves, even a farmgirl.
i would avoid any girl who wants a friend to tag along. how can you have a conversation one to one if some other person is in the way? even if your interest is solely to get into her pants one to one is better. always remember they need sex also. if she has somebody with her the scenario will be different.
1. cannot talk openly.
2. cannot even touch her to see her reaction. even if she is willing she will worry what her friend thinks.
3. even if she is willing to go with you her friend may put some sense into her telling her not to go. this happens quite often in bars here with a group of girls.
i always tell the girl i feel funny meeting her with a friend because we cannot discuss openly. usually it works. if she is really hesitant better to meet at a public place for lunch and see what happens. more often than not she will text you before you get to the room if she does not go with to start with.

The majority of women on dia will ignore you when it sex for money deal, this does not mean they won't cheat you or try to scam you. I highly recommend that if you are looking for sex to set up two accounts and see which ones will have sex for money. These type of girls will be a 100% sure thing for sex on first date if you treat them right, since they are motivated by other things than love.
