If you, fellow forum users, where in my shoes, where would you try to find such a person? There would be no need to let him / her inside the apartment, so that part would be safe. He / she would still be able to find out where I'd stay (Airbnb), so the person should not be inclined to robbery. Only for honest translators work.

Instead of a translater, ask a taxi driver. Take any 30 yo male. Look, if you pay them 2000 Rubel an hours, 25 bucks, they will srive you around to the salons. They will ring the bell and walk you up. They will check the websites for you on the smart phone. If you specify age and size range, they will know or they will check and they will gladly drive you there.

No wingman / middleman needed. 1st off learn a little Russian. Not hard to learn 100 essential words.

Language is pretty much a non issue. Call the salons, if no one speaks any English (rare) call back later someone will or call one of the many other salons. Same with the independents. After several calls one day without great results a sultry blonde answered the phone says of course she speaks English then asks if she should bring a friend. YES Please do. Turns out they were 20 & 21 year old cousins. My jaw dropped when I got to the courtyard to bring them up. Full Lesbian / service followed making for a great afternoon.

The taxi drivers will have access to all the salons. Use them to find the salons, make sure you get the salons cards for later trips. This eliminates the biggest problem which is finding the physical location of a salon the 1st visit. Major pain in the ass! I have spent more than a few hours trying to figure out where the hell is such & such salon. Get to know the salon manager she can be helpful later with recommendations and also home delivery. Once you know the salon location take a gypsy cab to it. Much cheaper.

Better to get to the building and have the salon buzz you in or come down and fetch you at the door.

Doesn't seem to matter the age of the driver, if they are male they usually know where to go. Or they will call around to figure it out. Yes there are a few girls that will up charge who speak English but its up to the buyer to shop around. If your in a fancy hotel the English speaking girls at the bar will ask ridicules prices. For the most part this for me has never been a problem despite only speaking 100 words or so of Russian. "NO" translates into any language.

My experience with the Russian people has been that they are more than helpful when your trying to find an address. I have stopped passerby and asked them to speak with the salon I have on the phone and direct me. Of course they did not know the purpose.

Piter is a great city for hookers with many options, then there are the semi-pros and freebies. Hitting clubs and nicer restaurants you will encounter 2 girl teams looking for for a single man with a few rubles to spend for an evening of threesome sex. Great city!

Looks like its no longer open. I went a couple of times on my 1st trip. It was a little pricey for girls and the women were a little more seasoned "older" hookers.
