If PapiOso is reading, you were actually in La Mayorista (centro commercial) not at what is commonly called Mayorista by people here in the forum. You were pretty much about a block away but outside of that gated complex. The locals call the strip La Raya I think. I usually tell taxi drivers la Mayorista then redirect them before they turn in the entrance or if on Guayabal Av I have them take the jug handle at Parque Las Chimeneas.

Men, cases can be great but don't expect to find that diamond without doing some legwork. I once found a diamond spinner after visiting at ten off the beaten path casas. Well worth my search.

However I second the theory that they will work while on the rag. Maybe since the manager knows me he was doing me a favor. Price is 30 K room included. All the rest is besides the point. Yes, of course there are guys who pay more there and everywhere else. I've never experienced or heard about an offer for 30 K room included being turned down anywhere on that strip.

Indeed HT, indeed. I thought of a few after I posted. Probably should not have ended my few with ". Last but not least". Mayorista is / has expanded with the main entrance being redone almost completely. A bitter deeper in they are digging a whole for a parking garage and more space for the vendors to not be piled up on each other as they are in the building where you can find great deals on fruit and vegetables. It is tight in there but there is a system for navigating the isles. Like get out the way if someone is coming up or down the isle carrying boxes of produce. I learned quickly being a big guy but it was well worth it to get cheap but good produce. There are plenty of ATMs in the newer front part and almost all of the local banks are represented. Good food can be had at the restaurant above the market "BOOM" I think is the one. I get the names mixed up as there are three big supermarkets in the complex. The menu rotates from day to day so the choice is limited but I have not had a bad lunch there. All the markets have an area where you can get cooked food and all are pretty good. There is a WU in one of them as well in case you send yourself money from home for future trips while the exchange rate is good. (WU is in most of the larger Exitos as well and it's a pretty easy transaction just need your passport and the transaction number). There are places to get meat and seafood in the complex and there is a liquor distributor with most items but not always the absolute cheapest in the city so price around. Again, the supermarkets in the complex are good prices for mostly everything. If you really want a nice option for seafood like the bigger shrimp that are not easily found there is a seafood distributor across from the main entrance to Mayorista. It s a blue and white building on the corner. I think it is open Tuesday to Saturday but not 100% sure. I have not done a report is a long time but have made many trips. I will follow up with some info when I go on the 18th.
Yes Bangkokmikey, casas are places where the girls can be had for a set price and most are open 10-7. Nighttime is usually not for casas but for clubs or the strips but I do think a few higher end (price wise) casas are open after 7. "Reasonable prices" is relative to the buyer.
On point with the girls still doing work while their period is on. Depends on the day and how much she knows about keeping it from being messy. Had a girl want to screw with a tampon in. Told me, "Just the tip!" LOL. It's a business and the girls do have tricks for that time of month.

Just being realistic because I know that I have experienced and heard about an offer for 30 K room included being turned down in front of a few hotels and bars and the restaurants on the strip. I said YMMV so you have given an example of excellent mileage. Letting guys know what to expect and what is the normal rate allows them to decide for themselves to pick, choose or refuse.

Hi All, So I was at the Mansion for the first time but was staying at the Castillo location as it was sold out for the July 4th party. I was there from June 28 to July 6 and flew down on Copa. Have to say the flight with Copa was uneventful so that is always great and was meet by the Taxi that I booked with the Mansion. Thanks to everyone who provided info on Banking as this helped out. I used a combo of ATM / Cambio on the trip and both were easy and painless, I averaged 2150 peso to 1 Canadian at the cambio and will be checking the exchange from the ATM later on in the week. Some notes and observations from this trip I did not get to do a Casa run as well the ladies at the Mansion were great for me, I did hit up Fase Dos on Saturday night for a bit with another member here on the board (Huskerdude) and was very impressed buy the quality of the ladies as they were all smoking hot. But did not partake any as the prices would have been too high.
As for the July 4th party that was my first time there and have to say that it was crazy. There must have been close to 60 plus chicas in The Cave and they were all smoking hot. I ended up going with three chicas that night as they were all dancing and grinding and hard to say No to them LOL. As for the chicas I have to say that the selection was amazing and in 8 days there I was able to spend time with 15 different chicas and each was great. My one complaint was that I was not able to get a decent BJ, not sure if it is an age thing as they were not experienced enough or what. But in all all the chicas were excellent sessions.
Spent most of the time in M1 as this is where most of the action was. I was advised about the hill walking up to Castillo but the reality is that is one ***** of a walk up and it almost killed me the first day as I was walking up it at my normal pace and that killed me. After that it was done at a slower pace and was fine. Getting the chicas from M1 to Castillo was not a problem. At night it was cab up with most and there were a few that during the day actually wanted to walk up but I always insisted that taxi was fine and they did not want too.
Also did a few touristy things the first time toward the end of the trip and that was a nice break after going hard for the first 4-5 days. Did the usual Botero Plaza and the Museum and also did a Real Walking tour that were great. Was able to also see the local red light district behind the museum and have to say that was odd as there were some nasty looking providers but then some were really hot looking also. But there is no way I would go up those stairs with any. I feel I would come down with a kidney missing.
Want to say a big Thanks to the guys who where there during my trip as they made it fun and were cool to hang with at M1.
In the end I have realized that I may not bee going back to the Dominican Republic (BlackBeards I am a compund guy) any more after seeing the quality of the Ladies and the city in general. Or if I go it will be for only a few days at best.
I can't wait to return to MDE and time to save the cash and try and book for the July 4 party for 2018.
