Whose definition of "rich" are we using?
Mongers would look at how much another guy HAS: nice car, house, income, bank account etc.
Girls look for how much a guy is SPENDING and do not care about the above definition.
That's why there are so many guys in AC who are "rich" for two weeks and why they are so popular.
Haha.
Real rich man don't let others know they are rich.
Maybe the house at home yes.
And they let a girl fly in from a village to Angeles to have fun from the moment they arrive.
BTW, being rich is being able to do what you like to do yourself. Not doing everything what the others already do.
I find Angeles and all other places so relax if you don't need a girl.
Just mention once you are gay. You wil see how much more fun.
Hihi.
Completely different reviews by two guys who both seem to have tons of experience in Angeles City. Not only that but they might have even crossed paths during the creation of their completely different reviews. I left Sockers' comments about Makati in the quote since I believe it reflects on his view of AC. I took the liberty to condense the breaks in their posts to lessen the impact of two huge quotes to the page. I also edited out sockers photo comment.
Well it depends how much beer you had and if you really need a girl and of coarse the time you go in and what type / age of girl you want.
In my view I had in 2004 nicer streetgirls than which I see in parameter road these days.
Rio (in old days there where two bars also Nifty) was 10 years ago good. But now at 6 pm only good for a LD HJ.
Some newer bars I see in perimeter nice girls also later at the day / evening.
But in my view the slim girls are (quick) gone.
Bars first part of fields near McDo was crowded 2 months ago already at early afternoon with Koreans.
The far perimeter is also Korean. Bars like F1.
They like slim long. So if that's the taste be on time. Specially in the areas I mentioned.
I stopped with alcohol. So the magic is a little gone.
Pinay just transfer all tips in Jolibee food.
So don't tip them annymore.
I was looking on the Grab app and entered a destination in AC just to see what would show up.
The app quoted me a price of about 2400 to go there. Never tried to actually make the booking but that is less than has been reported here for a car and driver to go to AC from Manila.
Anyone ever actually tried it? Any luck?
How about the return trip?

How about the return trip?
I tried it from AC to Manila before. The guy accepted, but then sent me a message that it was only Grab Pampanga and did not go to Manila. That was like 2 years ago. Maybe things have changed. I am at NAIA right now and it only shows 2033 pesos to Central Park Tower in AC for a shared ride. I have reported a couple of times paying 2000 - 2200 for a regular taxi though. The thing is that some guys don't like to bargain and therefore pay the higher prices for rides as well as girls.

How about the return trip?
I've used Grab driver from AC to NAIA. It's not reliable though if you need to make a connection.
Usually I will make conversation with the Grab drivers I use around AC and ask if they want the job at XXpm. Usually it costs me P3 k. Over time I've collected a few driver's numbers one of which will usually accept a direct job.
In / around AC I've used Grab for longer trips BUT it is impossible to get a driver as a pickup to a remote location.
If you have available time, then just post the job and see if there are any takers.
Of course, the bus is super convenient these days.

Air Asia flight from Bangkok is in terms of price the most convenient for this trip (I am a little bit afraid of Phillipines Airlines perhaps without a reason).
I want to go to Angeles, but this flight arrives at 1. 45 am, leaving the airport it will be 2. 30 am. Definitly traffic will be better, but perhaps I should have some safety concerns.
I can play a taxi, the question is, should I simply stay one night near the airport and leave peacefully the next day, or should I try to find a Taxi (or Grab) at this hour?
Surely other people have been doing this flight from Bangkok.
Thanks.
Great report Blanquiceleste. As Mark Twain once remarked about his own life, "Reports of my (or AC's) death are greatly exaggerated. " Perhaps what prompts the negative response from many BM's is the fact that for whatever reason prices are no longer dirt cheap as compared with other Asian watering holes and LT is no longer the default. All I can say is things change.
But it sounds like you had a real good time with some attractive girls and that is what counts. I will save a few of your bar recommendations in my notes file for a future visit, but I first have to tear myself away from MNL. 555. I love the big city girls.
I think the fact that prices are way up combined with many now being short time runners, others not even doing bar fines with white guys, and more than half now being chubby moms probably paints a fuller picture. Especially when you usually have to make multiple flights or a long overland connection to get there with few cities connected to Angeles by air.
If Angeles City didn't have bars it's unlikely anyone would ever want to go there. It's just not a nice place at all outside of the women as anyone honest will admit. There is still easy and affordable pussy there. Don't get me wrong! But in this interconnected world Angeles City just doesn't stand out like it used to.
The argument that you can still have sex with hot chicks if you're willing to spend a lot of money is a strange one since it's true anywhere in the world. You can also have sex with hot chicks in New York or London or Tehran if you're willing to spend a lot of money. LOL!

Montecristo.
I stayed at Pacific Breeze Hotel and they do provide a pickup service from Manila Airport. The driver has always showed up on time. I usually nap my way to Angeles City.

Very safe. Take a nap. You should get to Angeles around 4 AM.
Problem as I see it with the use of internet sites to procure dates is your heading back into the territory of the dreaded photoshop. I want to meet the girl face to face before deciding to waste my time and money on her. Even the apps these days are loaded with glamour edits (photoshop reborn for those with a smart phone). Saggy tits and stretch marks are headed your way on a girl far less attractive than the photo's suggested. If your living there and have the time to send the girl packing when she shows up with an extra 30 pounds then go for it but the guys who are flying in with a limited timeslot on their tour can't waste a night waiting for a girl to show up who won't make the grade.
I tell any girl I meet online straight up "if you have a kid I'm not interested in meeting, sorry". I used to ask them if they had kids but too many lie so I have to leave when I find out the truth. This makes things easier. No need to waste time. Time is money, or in this case pussy!

Their taxi service, click through, will sort you out. Crucially, they give good info on meeting at Manila arrivals. Unlike other airports, you exit, cross a road to the meet and greet areas. They meeting you in the XYZ area and email you details of it.
You are arriving at a good time traffic wise. Going during the day would add considerable time to the journey. I guess you are Cheap Charlieing it taking such a cheap short hop flight at such an hour. If so, taxi to Pasay and get a bus to Pampanga and trike to hotel.

Instead ask "How many kids do you have?
This question is unexpected and it throws them off. You can quickly tell if they are thinking about the answer. Those who genuinely don't have any kids very quickly act affronted and answer none. Invariably the girl will say "one only" even if she has 2 or more at home.
