I hear ya, but my situation is unique. There's no money involved or thought of it. This is plain old fashioned lady jealousy mixed with crazy. I. e. 'You had sex with my friends and you don't want me even though you said you did (I didn't) so I am going to ruin you and if you come back here I will ruin your vacation'.

I have added a few AC girls as facebook friends that were superstars in the looks and personality department. Like maybe I'd want a repeat. It's fun to see their little lives. The nutcase found me through them or something. I didn't add her. My privacy settings were pretty tight but not as good as they should have been and she was able to figure out some stuff. No real harm done but I don't really want to look over my shoulder constantly if I return.

I know there has been many different views comparing bkk to Philippines and the value for money, food, things to do, service etc. I had been to AC and makati several times but I keep coming back.

For example on my first trip to AC I met this sales girl at sm mall who was in the cosmetic section when I was shopping for another girl I met there. She shared me her number and we met the following day and got along really well. In fact, just as most of the girls poured her family issues to me and said she desperately wanted to get out of Philippines and make some money. I got her a job in the Middle East working as a sales girl. As she was a gym and fitness freak (great body to boot) she went on working on her body and I sponsored a few courses for her on fitness and nutrition. I got her a job as fitness trainer and she is now set. I had her spread her legs when ever I wanted and the service levels and gratitude for helping her was phenomenal. When she was in Philippines I even bought school books for her high school younger sister. She now has a Filipino boy friend who is ok with how I met her and has no problems with me still fucking her. Well now her younger sister turns 18 at the end of next month and she is willing for me to meet her and take her cherry. Her younger sister is a part time model in AC.

I will be there in AC on 29th October for a few days and will spend some time with her sister.

Now I have never got this kind of gratitude in bkk or any other place.

And that's why I keep coming back. Peace out.

Just a simple example: a mug of coffee at Margarita Station is 39 peso and at Kokomos it's 45 peso. A mug of coffee (of about the same size) at Phillies is what, 65 peso? Last time I was in Phillies is years ago so maybe the price is even higher now. However I have never seen anybody complain about this 'rip-off price' at Phillies LOL.

I didn't know this airline. However after some investigation it seems to me that the connection from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is much better than from Don Muang (DMK). When you fly from DMK you will have a transit of at least 12 hours in Singapore, but when you fly from BKK the transit is only 2 or 3 hours.

This is what I have found. Unfortunately the flight schedule search on their website doesn't work, so please correct me if I'm wrong:

BKK 08:40 - CRK 17:35, with 2 hours transit in Singapore. About 8 hours travel time in total.

After October 28th the schedule changes:
BKK 09:00 - CRK 19:10, with 3 hours transit in Singapore. About 9 hours travel time in total.

Unfortunately the transit times in Singapore on the way back from Clark to Bangkok (both airports) are way too long to my liking.

And I could not find a fare for only 100 USD (one way). Not including check-in baggage and a meal and drink anyway. The best I could find was 6659 THB, even when I looked as far ahead as April next year. So that's about 200 USD.

Gas prices keep rising as does the price of every other imported good, so the cost of living is rising rapidly. I try not to take trikes or jeepneys in A / see or anywhere else, so I don't follow those prices, but as a business owner here depending on European imports, I to know that the price of everything is rising quickly, so it would not be surprising to see trike drivers trying to squeeze as much as they can out of punters.

The Angeles trike deal is the biggest ripoff in PI. I don't complain about it because I don't take them much and when I do I just hand them 80 pesos and they are fine with that. Seems like nothing. But when you have been other places in PI and see the difference then you realize it is some bullshit.

I was in Dumaguette and a trike ride clear across the city in a large comfortable trike was 10 pesos. In Angeles they charge you 100 pesos to go across the street in a cramped up death box. That is 10X difference! That is comparable to taking a comfortable bus in New Orleans for $2, then going to Orlando Mickey Mouse tourist town and having to pay $20 to ride in the back of a chicken truck.

If not anything else, the trike deal is definitely complaint-worthy. So try making the same argument having your Margarita Starbucks coffee at 39 pesos and your Phillies Shitbean coffee at 390 pesos. That would give a clearer picture of what the trike ripoff is.

Filipinos want to leave their country. There are millions of them in other countries for work or marriage in fact. Thai people on the other hand aren't nearly as likely to want to leave. Guys often seem shocked when they get a Thai girlfriend or even wife and find out that no, she doesn't want to go to Europe or America. She wants to stay in Thailand. Consider why that might be.

Thailand over the years has become modern and the girls do not open their legs for anybody. Although other Asian currencies have tanked Thai Baht is holding value. Where else they will get garlicky, spicy food anywhere in the world comparable to Thai?

On the other hand Philippines is still stuck on overpopulation, bad infrastructure, not enough jobs, bad administration etc. Although over the years food situation has improved somewhat Philippines girls like to go to other countries to support their families. They have total western exposure being colony of other countries. Having said that I know some girls after being married and moved to other countries become bored and disillusioned and have returned home. Their initial impression is that all westerners are rich and will give them a good life. Only after moving they realize it is not so. They need to toil like everyone else to have a good living.

Thinking folks who know the prices--and the quality of the product--can make informed choices about where to buy coffee.

For whatever reasons, the peso is weakening week-on-week against the dollar and the Euro and inflation according to the government, is now at over 6 percent, which is inflating the cost of virtually all imported goods.

I once had a Barangay Captain in a rural area in the southern Visayas tell me that many Filipinos in his community were just simply lazy. He pointed out the many plots of land where they good till various kinds of vegetables, but, according to him, they lacked the initiative and ambition to do so. It's possible that the hand-to-mouth lifestyle that some rural Filipinos live inhibits their ability to see ways to pile up a little extra (it's called capitalism) to get ahead. Assuming the Barangay Captain is correct, it would be interesting to know whether these returning Filipinas bring with them a changed attitude about self-sufficiency and hard work.
