Given the, er, quality of the rooms at the Walkabout, if you can't bring back a girl of your choice then why would anyone in their right mind stay there?
Yeah and the policy about girls dressed too sexy who can't come in... A joke right?
Seriously, the WA is a low-key pick-up joint in feckin' Phnom Penh, are they upgrading to a teahouse? Some upgrading in the kitchen will be seriously needed then. And what's next? Polo evenings? Rotary charity events? Will the girls be allowed to be on coke but not on meth?
I've never stayed there and I've never short-timed in their rooms either so I've never had the problem but I can't remember of any pull, anywhere in PP, who were able to produce an ID card.

i was staying at flamingo's in november 09, eating at wa for lunch and dinner. nice food but i was deliberately avoiding eye contact with the working girls there. the quality of these were just awful. even when i was eating my meal i was getting disturbed by these girls. had they been nicer to look at then no problem but these looked like they were scraping the bottom of the ugly barrel.
however beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some will argue that they are beautiful to them but they didn't do anything for me.

Not sure, but ugliness is definitely right there in the girl.
I recently saw an MP page and asked diff members what they thought, whod they'd pick out of the 20+ girls. Every person who replied picked the same girl. My own take: beauty is not in the eye of the beholder, it's in the girl. It's just the 7-8 range where beholding comes into play at all. And ugly is just ugly.

well last time i went to pp i thought some were really okay looking but that was quite a long time ago (may 2008), might have changed a lot.

Walkabout
Well last time I went to PP I thought some were really okay looking but that was quite a long time ago (May 2008), might have changed a lot.
Me too, exactly a year ago. I especially remember one nice little thing named Naren.
Sometimes it pays to be a bit of a contrarian. When everyone starts saying "Avoid x, it really sucks", I'll still go by once in a while and check it out just in case. You never can tell when a nice girl is going to walk into any bar, good or bad. That said, the WA was pretty hopeless last week. But then I swung by Sharky, another place that a lot of experts say to avoid now, and found a total lovely.

I've criticised sharky in the past but having gone there a few times over the last couple of months-its good.
It was always the closest thing to a pub here and with good food.
The food is still good and the local talent has got much better.

gel
Are they selling the gel versions of the different stiffy drugs these days in PP? If so, at reasonable prices? I haven't tried those yet, was considering picking some up when I'm (possibly) there next month to see how it is. If the answer is Yes, would be good to know exactly where to go. I've used those pharmacies near the Psar Thmei market, St 154 or thereabout (I'm a bit fuzzy on the memory but once I'm on the ground I'd find them quickly -- haven't been in PP in over 2 yrs) to get the knockoffs like Apcalis and Kamagra in pill form before.

It was a few months ago - but the chemists on the right side of 136 between 53 (corner of the market) and 51 (Pasteur) had everything. There seems to be no more availability of APSALIS (I guess the Indian connection dried up) and Avoid the CHINESE knock off - in my case TOTALLY ineffective. The kamagra gel is available and is cheaper "buy" the box. The first place on the right (all the boxes in the window advertising) is where I got the bad CIALIS but the kamagra seagra zeagra tablet prices were pretty good (under $3 / pack)

FYI and reference I get the Kamagra 100mg oral gel in Pattaya for 1.500 baht the 50 pieces pack.
They come in three flavors: Orange, Strawberry and fruit cocktail.

Casa Hotel
Hello, all.,
This is my first trip to Phnom Penh, not quite true as I was here for 3 days a year ago but was so sick after a couple of weeks in Sihanoukville that I could not leave the hotel. Anyway, I've booked 4 nights at Casa Hotel followed by 3 nights at Flamingo. Questions about the Casa. What's the story with the nightclub? Is it karaoke or some other style? Are the girls freelance or controlled by a mamasan? Any idea what the going rates are? And about the sauna. Is it just a sauna or is there something else going on there?
Forearmed is forewarned as they say. Thanks for your help.

Ha ha, think we should stop at "skin deep". I think we all look the same as skeletons=bones, that is unless the lady had the skeleton of the Elephant man .

Bought some zeagra once too and was very happy with them. My friend complained about headache though. Not sure if he'd have complained with kamagra as he's not a regular user.
