It is best to back off a bit, tell them you never pay for sex, tell them you are getting married next month, tell them you are married, so make them work for your business.

Try to be the consumer, not the consumed.

Even so it can be hit and miss, especially because you will be a target for the old hands spotting a newbie in town.

However, just lie back and enjoy it, relax, and you will most likely have a really great time. Just lower your expectations a bit and you may be pleasantly surprised to the upside.

Haha enjoy your trip man. Yeah all the information here can be overwhelming as well as contradictory at the same time. I'm surprised you didn't get discouraged and booked a trip to Colombia or Brazil instead.

Since you mentioned BBQ, I'll give some input on food. You'll find that Dominicans eat very little vegetables. Unless you're staying at all-inclusive (which I don't recommend) or a hotel with a nicer restaurant, the local menus are pretty much limited to lettuce and tomatoes salads. Find time to hit the grocery store for some fruits and fiber-rich foods.

I did actually read quite a bit about Brazil thanks of the guys posting in that forum. Ah the allure of Brazil! They were several reasons I passed on Brazil for my first p4 p trip. Longer flight time, no exposure to portuguese, cost and so on. For strange reason, Termas (which the forum touches on the most) didn't really sound appealing to me while German FKKs sound kinda fun. Weird. The leg work involved exploring other options in Brazil (prives, etc) seem to be better reserved for a longer trip than I can arrange right now. Brazil will be probably be my next trip as I want to go before the 2016 Olympics monkey business starts. The Philippines seems fun as well.

I come either before or after it works out because for the most part those people can only come when their low tier government jobs are closed such as holidays and a random weekend that they saved up for sport fucking just to boring now.

The baddest Dominican girls from all over the island are going to come to Sosua. So expect some high quality stunners. Nothing but 10's.

I work a 9/80 schedule, so that combined with a national holiday I can get a 7 or 8 day trip using only 3 or 4 vacation days. That gives me the flexibly to travel multiple times during the year as opposed to burning a full week or two without combining them with holidays.

I don't work for the Gubbermint though, lol.
