Grown man's quick guide for the DR.

Touts: these guys try to play middleman in between you and your chica because they speak English and Spanish. They get a kickback from the Chica when they help the Chica make a deal with you. And they expect you to give them a tip for helping you secure your chica. They are opportunists only interested in how fast they can get or bum off you as quick as possible. They look for guys who are alone or groups that are not confident in communication. Sometimes they are useful to translate to / for a Chica that you just don't underdstand. If you have to use them give them 40 to 100 pesos and keep it moving. Let them know if you need help you will come to them otherwise you're good. Letting them hang with you is foolish because they are grimy and you will be buying drinks and hearing sob stories for money. Never open your wallet in front of them.

Sales people: these people will sell you anything that you might look at. If you glance in their direction to look at their product it's a sign of weakness and they will push hard to get whatever money they can out of you. No thank you is polite but it does not help. When these people are talking to you just pretend like they don't exist. We consider this rude but that's not how they consider it. Do not give them Eye contact. If all else fails us tell them you are only here to buy pussy that's it.

Beggars: they have no conscience. A lot of them start off with a handshake and / or a polite greeting. Once they have eye contact with you they set in for the kill of your Dinero. Keep walking pretend like they don't exist. They are skilled to look for any signs of weakness. Some may even get you to commit you to give them something for tomorrow. They make sounds to grab you attention like. Hey my friend. Or hola my brother.

Service providers: this includes cabdrivers barbers manicurist massages ect. Always ask how much first. Make them repeat the price. Never agree to the initial price everything is based on bargaining.

Chicas: know how much you are going to spend for a Chica and put that money on you securely. Never let her lead you make her walk behind you. This is a psychological move of who's in control. Never offer her the whole amout. Let 300 to 500 pesos be a tip and explained it to her she gets it only if she's good and everything goes accordingly. Example: you willing to give 2500. Tell her 2000 and a big tip if she's good. If she will not compromise keep walking she's playing you / and you probably saved yourself a headache. Let her know that's all the money you have left. Showing her more money is inviting her to beg. Don't be afraid to sit her in the lobby and record the amount expectations and the time on your phone before she goes in your room. Any signs from her of negativity end the conversation no questions. If you really like her she'll be primed for the next day and she'll know you mean business.

Do the chicas that flood Sosua for Super Bowl Weekend leave immediately or is Monday, Tuesday, etc. pretty good in chica choices too?

The best scenario is the flood of NYC dudes leave on Monday but many of the chicas hang around and the ratio is absolutely lopsided in the favor of dudes who haven't left yet.

Maybe then prices can start to fall.

The Dominican is more of a player so I might just tell her I have few days I can spend with her and will be with other friends and she can accept or reject it. A friend of mine who has met the Dominican (and wants to get in her pants) thinks she would go for what I'm thinking about. This would never fly with the Haitian. You want to maintain the GFE, but also want some freedom to do your own thing, on your own time, no hassle. So you start lying, scheming, manipulating and inconveniencing yourself so's not to disappoint her or get her mad at you. (one guy here recently posted that he would sneak out at 1. 00 am on the pretense of being hungry, while the chica was asleep in his bed) Pretty soon you find yourself in a soap opera of your own choosing. You're losing control.

To break out of this, you have to lay down the law, be strong but consistent and show them that, while you can be a good occasional novio, you insist on control and freedom.

When I'm with my GF, we are basically a monogamous couple. Nobody, male or female can come between us, so we can have fun, go anywhere together and have no arguments. It's a confident, secure relationship, when we are together.

It wasn't always this way. A couple years ago she was getting a little demanding and controlling how I spent all my time down there. She also advised me that she was coming to visit me, and was working on a visa and passport. I felt a little pressure to help her and was losing control of the relationship. During that time I was in the DR and was seeing a couple of chicas, that I didn't know she knew. I broke up with them for the same reasons. So she figured out how I like to hang, learned my limits, accepted it, and we hooked up again. We are both very strong minded individuals, and while I let her take control of the small things, now I get the last word.
