If you're walking then this weekend is a wild card with this law change. But that's just an uneducated guess. I always drive so I'm not familiar with walking. The news is definitely paying attention to the amount of migrants that have built up recently. So I'm interested to watch it play out.
Returned to Tijuana wed evening after being away 4 months. Tijuana, mexixo 2nd biggest city is like living in a farm town of 100 people. You see the same people over and over. 1 minute off the bus and walking on revolution I see a gringo friend that basically lives there. Most of the same girls in the street. Some new revolution restaurants. The dollar has dropped down to about 17.8 to 1 dollar. So things are gona be more expensive for us. All the sidewalks are finished. They already look 40 years old so dirty. I miss the way it was, you had to walk slow to not fall. So you could look at the girls. Now you will be walking 3 times faster. I knew hk beer was gona be 5 dollars. In past if I bought drink it was a free vip card drink. But hk needs to make legit drinks to be charging 8 dollars. A Hong Kong long Island iced tea will have 25% the alcohol that its supposed to. Same with margaritas. Around 7, I was in hk a few minutes and all sudden no girls were dancing. In any spot. And then a guy danced topless all muscled up like the gay club male dancers. I was shocked everyone was watching him. I don't know what that was all about. He did not look like a drunk gringo just having fun. He looked like a lrofesional dancer. After ten minutes girls started dancing on all the bars and stages again. But it was weird to see. I honestly thought hk made a new rule and girls couldn't dance anymore maybe it was keeping guys too occupied from buying lap dances. So I was relieved to see them dancing again. Another bar that was always 2 beers for 4 bucks said in the street "2 for 5". So once again, hk raises prices everyone else follows suit. I went back to revolution street to drink at the 80's bar. Half the charm of mexixo is cheap beer I'm not paying 5 bucks. MOre than once per night.

I live in California and Tijuana is so much closer and easier / cheaper to get to / back. So it is a no brainer for me to stick to Tijuana.

If not for HK clubI would go to the place that is least painful logistically since they are probably both great.

The guy dancing topless was likely for Mother's Day which was May 10 in Mexico. I was at Chicago Club Sunday and they spent a couple hours with different guy dancers, a drag queen lip syncing, and a big cake for the girls. One of the girls told me what was happening, or I would have been very confused. As for the rest of it, yeah prices are getting up there everywhere. Even the taxis have doubled their rates.

Unfortunately, I am a us citizen so when coming from mexico into the us, I won't get a free cell phone, I won't get free medical care, I won't get protection from the us military, and I will be asked a bunch of questions. I am wondering what's the consequence of the following.
"where are you coming from?" "none of your damn business".
"did you bring anything with you?" "none of your damn business".
I am thinking 1) I have the right to enter without having to answer any questions 2) the border patrol agent knows this 3) but they will hold me in a cell for 10 hours just to prove they can.

Police raid in HK was apparently an investigation into a recent fatal drug overdose of a military officer. Article I read said it was a Mexican military officer but I thought there was a young man from the USA Navy who'd very recently overdosed in one of the rooms? So am wondering if there really were two separate fatal overdoses at HK or if the article was actually referring to the young man from the US Navy who passed away.
A chica I know from the Chicago Club texted me last night that she was working at La Gloria that night. I don't know any girls that work at La Gloria and was wondering why she was there (I never followed back up with her on that) but am thinking the fire last night probably explains it.

I think they will still be seen in hotels because with open border policy people still need a night orn2 to stay and get organized for their strategy over the border.

And, to me, it sounds like you're just looking for trouble.

In San Ysidro, people from around 90 countries try to cross the border using fake documents, fake IDs, plus drug smuggling, people smuggled in car trunks, etc. Never dull moment here.

If you are a citizen, you are entitled to come back in. I understand they need to make sure only their own authorized agents bring drugs into the country and you don't. But "where are you coming from" is none of their business and "did you bring anything with you" is a dumb question. You think a drug dealer would say "yes sir I brought one pound of fentanyl with me"? I am not looking for trouble. It's about the principle.

And I understand they want to make sure that only their own authorized agents bring drugs to the country. But "did you bring anything" is a dumb question. You think a drug smuggler is going to say "yes I brought drugs with me"?
It would be great if some of hot Russian or Ukranian girls started working in the Zona.
