Definition of a Pimp v Brothel
This is purely for my knowledge only.
A pimp is someone who supplies yes? What about those who supply and deal at their own residences? What does one call those?
Regards,
J.
Yes indeed Jossh. A supplier. You allude to what in normal parlance is called a Brothel. Although the proper definition of a brothel is a place where there are ladies for FS most of the time (sometimes 24 hrs like the ranch in Las Vegas, California / Geylang in Singapore). Some brothels have ladies only at appointed times; agreed with the client beforehand. (A hotel is safer as one can argue / claim it's nothing to do with any law what consenting couples do in the privacy of any room, anywhere).
In the 21st century with smartphones / Internet / websites ladies can manage their own customers & they do in the west and even in CMB (there are websites with ridiculous prices) . I suspect pimps exist because ladies fear being introduced to unknown mongers who might become violent, sometimes suddenly. Pimps provide introductions / brokerage while also hanging around incase something goes wrong with the introduction. I hear a monger from Colombo had badly wounded a lady with her own heels as he's into that kind of weird stuff and the lady was badly scarred. Especially young girls see pimps as a necessicity. The pimp hangs around for the duration & collects money and provides 'protection'. As a result the price goes up by ⅓ rd, with ⅔ rd’s for the lady. However, there are really bad examples of pimps from the african-american culture + also really vicious examples from the sex trafficing trade, which is slavery wether mongers are aware or it or not.
