I fly first on EVA (premium laurel) and my last trip the fast track people picked me up at the gate as I was leaving the plane with a golf cart and whisked me through. Only delay was the bag off the carousel but that was only a few milutes.

I am often in Nana area appr 1hr after touch down and I fly business class, most of the times, as Isue the fast track. The only critical moment is entering the town at appr 7/9 am, but this has nothing to do with the airport

Also amazed at how many of the gals with them were not that good looking. Sad thing is that I am sure most of these guys are paying top dollar. Just wait to see what effect that has on the market and with more and more Chinese coming, yesh! China already has literally millions of prostitutes at every imaginable price level. The experience is usually inferior to Thailand (more quick / mechanical) , but still, you won't see hordes of sex-starved men from China coming down to Thailand specifically for sex. Those at the bottom of the pile are too poor to travel, and those in the middle / upper classes have enough poon already. For them it's more of a side-show if they go to Bangkok on holiday or business.

Not related to girls, but a guy's got to eat sometime.

Had a tip that the view was nice at the Residence Arun, so decided to try it yesterday (Friday). Had to Google it and find the address. GF and I decided to taxi over instead of drive. Got there about 7:15 and the place was really busy. Sat upstairs, as the downstairs was full.

Their claim to fame is two decks that overlook the Chao Phraya. The view of what Arun at night is quite nice. And watching the boats cruise up and down the river, while sipping drinks, is enjoyable.

Speaking of drinks, they have a huge specialty cocktail menu. The bartender seems to know his shit. My Daiquiri was done very well, and that's not easy to find here. I don't use Triple Sec, but that's a minor quibble. GF had something with gin and maraschino cherry, forget the name, it was done properly, too. Price was about 170 per. Not bad for a properly mixed cocktail, and light years better than the $20 shit they pawn off on the tourists at Sky Bar. Stupid ass bartender at Sky Bar couldn't mix a mojito if his life depended on it. Of course the view isn't the same, so there is that.

We stayed for dinner. The place has an Italian theme (but plenty of generally farang dishes, too) , and Thai available. We opted for the farang. The guys next to us were eating Thai and it, too, looked really good. We split the grilled mushroom appetizer, which was quite good. Special note. Unlike some farang oriented places in TH, they know to bring the appetizer FIRST, and the entrée second. I had the grilled red snapper with dill cream sauce, she had the duck leg confit. Both were quite good and properly cooked. We split an orange crepe for dessert. I thought the strawberry and nut flavor ice cream clashed a bit with the orange sauce, but overall it was good. Tip. The ice cream is homemade and very tasty.

So. 2 cocktails. 1 appetizer. 2 entrees. 1 dessert. Damage (including service charge and VAT) was just under 1, 800 baht. Not the most expensive meal in BKK, certainly not the cheapest, but very good value for money. I also noted that about half of the clientele were Thai.

That was one end of the spectrum. The other was lunch today (Saturday). We checked out of the condo and drove to her house near Rangsit. We stopped for lunch at her favorite noodle place, which is also my favorite. It's one of those dumpy-ass fake boat looking things in the mosquito breeding ground, err, canal.

Lunch consisted of 2 bowls (the bowls are small) of "boat noodles," two bowls of "dry noodles," one dish of khanom jeen, a plate of pork balls, two bottles of est cola and a couple of tiny dishes of some coconut dessert which I can't spell. The boat noodles are some of the best I've eaten. Left stuffed. Total damage. 150 baht.

I couldn't find the noodle joint on a bet, but if you are looking for a good place to take your GF du jour, you could do worse than the Arun Residence

What a sad and "cheap looking" place. Really. I was astonished about the bad quality all over.

Annie's appears like a frustrated slave driver and so do the girls, let's better say middle-aged women. As posted earlier, the pictures on the homepage and walls appear really outdated to a good part and when I was there (5pm, supposedly a good time) there were plenty of girls (around 10-15) but none really nice, and most definitely over 25.

The thing which shocked me most was that the atmosphere in the house as well as in the fish bowl appeared really sad. The girls frustrated and worn out.

Okay whatever, I took the best looking one (later were told she is 27,"Lala" or so; #6) as I wanted to make the experience and as so many here write so positively about Annies.

The girls appeared nice, the first 5min. Then I already waited 10min alone in room until she came back. She washed me on a special mattress, rubbing her body on me. Was nice, but after she but her away (to not get wet) and after undressing I was not much attracted anymore. Hanging breasts, and face which now also could be a lady boy. Whatever. What already turned me off here was the obvious standard routine of a completely bored and really worn out woman. I never saw such a sad "working lady", and I saw a lot, believe me. Yet, she did not appear to be an exception at that place.

Well after having some wash session on the mattress I was put to the bathing tube. Was okay, and she made a nice hand job. The blow jobs actually were all pretty bad, I could feel her teeth. And she was going to stress my little Boy too much from time to time. The touch simply was not gentle, but very mechanic.

Well I came with her hand job. Was good, but nothing special as she did not touch me except on my dick.

Well then we went on the bed to continue with another massage (remember that they promise 2hrs for 2500- all included). We both made a 10min break small talking. The girl was nice, but she was desparate so my feeling. She asked for a "water". For THB 120. I was lauging and said no. I myself was frustrated by then and was again disappointed by the cheap policies of that place. 120- I do not even pay for a beer in most gogo places. (Pattaya is 65-)

I wondered what was coming next. It was an okay normal massage on the back and then on the front. With again lots of monotonolus blow jobs (which again hurted more than they were nice, because she was going too far with her hands from time to time). She then desperately tried that I quickly come, shake my little Friend like crazy. I alsmost came a few times but then always something hurt. Again, everything appeared very mechanical (just as a side note, I had a normal massage in Pattaya and was asked at some point for "full service"? I said yes, got a super-hand job with oil from a middle-aged average looking woman. Did not matter. At least she had a very good touch and gave a great feeling; the damage there was THB 700-). Well I did not come a second time although she tried badly. I said at some point I have enough because I was worried that she really hurts me at some point. With permanent damage which would be a desaster for the remaining BGK days. .

Back in the days when it was a 1000 and there were some nice choices it was a fun friendly spot until the owners realised you could target the newbies around Nana use the net and get away with charging 2500. Had they put some of the extra money into the place and recruited some real talent instead of investing in new shops it would have more acceptable to longer term residents. That said they seem to have their admirers and when the ladies are past their best they can head over to Soi7/1 to see out their old age on the P4P scene.

I do get out of the country and find that does not really make the P4P scene here any more attractive. Hell, P4P in almost all places in Asia is a shadow of what it was 10 years ago. Cambo is another example. I certainly would not move here for the P4P now. There are so many other great things about living in Thailand though and those are what keep me here. Hey, it is great to go have an oily a few times a month, but the scene is just not that fun.

It does not take much intelligence to figure out we read all the threads. Duh. Notice that people who post reports do so on several different threads.

Guys who go to Annie's know it's run down; and anyone who reads the Annie's posts over the preceding few months will learn that is the case. Guys who go to MPs on a regular basis know on any given visit the pickings may be slim and going with a girl they're not familiar with is a crap shoot. However, if you read the Annie's thread over the past year, you'll see there are a number of girls there who get good to excellent reviews.

Your over the top rant appears to be a fanatic effort to disparage Annie's. And it is based on how many visits?

I have no problem with people who post that number so and so was a starfish, that they found the facilities run down and the mamasan's personality was lacking. Likewise I have no problem when guys gush and wax on about Annie's amazing #24 as though she was a goddess. But when someone appear to have an ax to grind it calls the credibility of the report into question and makes me wonder about the person's real motivation, and who is his employer.
