Manila

I'm interested in hiring a driver (taxi) for the evenings during my stay in Manila. Does anyone have any idea what the going rate would be? I know cab fares are relatively cheap in comparison. I want to have my driver from around 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Would 2,000-2500 Php be too much or too little to offer or what would you offer.

I think it would be handy to have a car waiting for me at the entrance of all the establishments while barhopping. Has anyone tried this or have any suggestions?

Arrived in town yesterday. Staying at the Los Palmas Hotel. 2000p a night, but the room is very small, however, it is clean and close to the La Cafe, Robinsons, etc.

Went to La Cafe around 6:30 and it was mobbed. What a cast of characters. You had women who looked like they came from the black lagoon, to a number of stunners. Having been fooled in my younger days by well arranged clothing that can hide some minor imperfections, e.g., sagging belly, tits, stretch marks, etc., there was no question in my mind some of these gals had fantastic bodies. A mumber had clohting on that looked like a second skin - I mean absolutely stacked.

There was a large group of younger guys/gals that did not appear to be working, i.e., no eye contact, very little chat, talked only with other youngsters. This was a noticable differance from my last visit 6 months ago.

Nevertheless, there were a lot of good looking women working. Finally picked out "Kim." She was 22, good looking, great body, and really fun. She insisted that her pregnant friend come along, but that is where I draw the line in terms of "fun." As always, it seemed a lot of the girls were working in pairs. Anyway, service was excellent, she did everything promised. Got her number and just may go for another session. She had the ability to make me a repeat customer which is an accomplishment.

A word of caution, she told me of being stopped by the police coming out of the La Cafe about a month ago because of some type of "curfew" scam. They took her to the police station, when it was obvious they were not going to get any money they let her go. I never leave the LA Cafe with my choice, I have them come to my hotel. If it is a distance - like last year - I give cab fare.

One more night in Manila and on to AC.

Anyone actually stay at the Grand Blvd and what are there prices per night. Also if you stay there do the girls come from 8th floor come to your room on request? I am well familar with Angeles. But my first 2 days I want to be on Roxas blvd. I prefer something $60 ish. Do they usually have vacancies in that area or should I make reservation. Will be in Manila on 5/3 at 10: 50 PM. Many of us know that NW flight.

Just like any bar, 'no eye contact'=don't waste your time. I have never experianced any police scam outside, but I have read so many reports of them that I am sure they exist. I always walk just ahead of my girl just-in-case. I figure I can just say this girl is following me if anything happens before getting to my car.

Most trips for me are unsucessfull at LA cafe. I am quite picky, and the smoke gets to me and I am forced to leave after about an hour. But last week I had a great one. One of those 'straight from the village to bar' types. I've only had two spectacular girls from LA cafe, and she was one of them. Both were hiding in corners and wearing clothes that would scare anyone away. This one was wearing this baggy dress that shouted "I am hiding a big/stretched stomach", and the other one was wearing a heavy coat! But they both had fantastic, tight bodys and the sweetest filipina personalities that you can find. Girls of that quality are hard to find at LA cafe, but if that is your thing, they will not approach you. You need to keep a keen eye out for the shy girls, as they are often the new ones. And they may be wearing the wrong clothes, so you sometimes have to take a chance. Casually ask if they have a kid, and get a good feel for the stomach. You can't discount a girl that won't give you a good look at her body, but you have to be carefull as well.

He said the location was nice but the hotel was a complete dive with the exception of the 8th floor.

Yes, you can have one of the girls come to your room if you wish or use the 8th floor rooms. Your choice!

How to start this, other than in speaking the truth, the la is a dump. I have often wonder why no one tells the truth of the place. The girls except for a few upstairs in the looks department are the worst. Most are in their 40s. I am not here to hammer this place. Just want to tell it like it is. There are many other places in Manila that are better. Keep smiling

Unless things have changed in the past few months. Granted, when you're dealing with vast numbers there will always be ugly ones. I am looking forward to mongering there once again very soon!

Of course it can be hit or miss. Remember, The place is open 24 hours 365 days a year (I think).

G1 - horny one
First one is a girl a friend of mine got me through a house, sorry I have no name or adress, price was sky high 4000 peso. But an amasing experience, since I also wanted to try "cialis" bought at only 100 peso at Harrison shopping mall. I know this tablets could be a risk, but yes they must have worked!

She was really hot, kept coming easy and so many times (8-10), could never stop. She kept calling me several days later, but I had so many other projects. Never tried to find out her price without going through that house.


G2 - japanese sweetie from LA Cafe
The second one was picked up at LA Cafe. These japanese style girls in 2nd floor are very difficult I remember from an article on this board. Thanks to that I made my strategy. It took me two hours of ignorance while I had fun with all other around me, until she and her friend suddenly approached me. Offered me ST for 2000 peso each, which I refused since her friend was never my type and I understood this somehow was a trap - I was supposed to take her friend, she would only give BJ and look at.

She then told me she was afraid to go alone, had never been with a white guy before. End of story, she brought another friend who waited downstairs - thanks Cherry Blossom for the suite with 2 floors for 2400 peso only. Damage 2000 peso for her and 500 peso for her friend waiting donwstairs. Far too much money, but my Willy was not willing to listen and go for any other. Very cute girl, but only medium experience.

Yes it might be a little dumpy but the place does have character. Last month when I stopped in, there were a variety of women to suite anyones taste and this was during the day. Maybe you were getting confused by those 40 year old mamasan wannabes. Anyway, can you please expound on which places are better in Manila?

If it was so bad, why is it packed, day and night. It is by far the busiest expat bar in Manila. Expats in Manila don't like to visit dumps, and I certainly don't, but I go there quite a bit. 95% of the girls there are butt ugly, but when there are 200 girls there, that leaves 10 cute girls to chose from. That is better then most places that have a bar fine.

You do not have time too fuck them all even if you wanted they are to many.

I stay since yesterday in AC, before I was one week in Bangkok. AC is not the place I expected.
The good thing is that the prices in the bars are lower than in Bangkok, also the waitresses are more relaxed. Just the girls are extremly ugly in AC. In some bars good looking girls are not to find. A better club is Ikarus and Doll house, just the better looking girls in Doll House are mostly Cherry Girls which I dislike. So, yesterday I went home to my hotel without barfining a girl. Didn't found what I am looking for.
Now, I think it's better to go back to Thailand or maybe try first Manila. I wrote in a former post that Century Citadell Inn might be a good solution for accomodation. LA Cafe is a good joint to meet girls. Just I didn't understand what the place is. Is it a gogo bar or a usual bar with freelancer? Why is there a problem with the police?
Where could I find gogo bars with pretty girls inside. Is KTV (Spelling?) a good place? About good advice I would be extremly glad.

Yes, I used to be a regular guest there, but nowadays I prefer other hotels in Ermita/Malate. As the rooms at Grand Blvd are in a very poor shape, a much better deal would be eg. Palm Plaza Hotel.

Via internet booking ("travelasia", if I remember correctly) I payed for Grand Blvd about 50 USD including breakfast, but last year they increased prices drastically (approx. 70 USD) - plus breakfast was suddenly excluded! However, keep in mind that you will pay much more (approx. 90 USD) when you ask the reception staff directly! So, internet booking is a must!

I have never seen that girls from 8th floor visit customers on - let's say - 10th floor or so. But there is actually no need to bring a cuty to your own room as their service is for ST (about 1 hour) and the rooms on 8th floor are certainly much better than the one you got!
