"when the driver released the central lock, priya opened the door and tried to come out of the vehicle. the policeman tried to pull her out, while the occupants of the car tried to keep her in. finally she jumped out of the car," the police said.
when kr!shnamurthy tried to take them into custody, the men punched him on his face and pushed him onto the road. he suffered bruises.
before the workers at the toll plaza could come to the policeman's rescue, the driver took a 'u' turn and escaped with the rest of the gang. priya, whose dress was torn, was offered a bed spread from an ambulance at the toll plaza. kr!shnamurthy said he couldn't note down the number of the car which drove away towards chennai."as the car was intercepted about hundred metres before the toll plaza, there was no light there. the number plate was not visible," he said.

three persons who allegedly harassed a young woman in a moving vehicle on east coast road early on thursday were arrested by the neelankarai police on friday. a sport utility vehicle used to commit the offence was seized.
according to police sources, the woman cried out for help from the speeding suv around 1. 15 am on ecr near injambakkam. a police patrol team that noticed it, gave an alert on wireless communication network. head constable kr!shnamoorthy, who was on duty, intercepted the vehicle near the toll plaza and rescued the woman.
when he tried to apprehend the accused persons, they dragged him into the vehicle and assaulted him. the three also tried to murder kr!shnamoorthy by running the vehicle on him. however, he managed to escape. the woman was taken to the neelankarai police station for inquiry.

After getting royally fed-up with the "wham-bam" contract gals and the other independent contacts who are always not available when they are desperately needed, it was time again to go back to the fundamentals of creating a new contact line; but this time, with the local junta; well, there might be diamonds in the dirt, if only you care to search.
[K] is a forum senior and we had interacted much before by sharing contacts. However, [K]'s contact list was predominantly local HW junta, and I was not too keen on it that time. She said on weekdays there is yet another place where there is A / C in the bedroom etc (hint taken: there will be no A / C today). She talked about another friend of [K], who also had visited her. She asked if my profession is same as that of [K], which were too personal in nature that I gave stories in response. She asked me about my work timings also. Very inquisitive in nature (probably as a security threat assessment, and I gave her reasonably good stories there, I guess).
Reached the place at 4. 20PM.
Called her couple of times. Busy signal.
4. 30. She calls back and sounded surprised that I'm already there. She said she will be there in 20 minutes.
Decided to wait; there was zero expectation for any action, but a reasonably good expectation of making a good starting contact. Also had decided to pay her 1K as a token for her time, without any action.
