"Lindas Chicas "is still open and Nancy is as feisty as ever.

Thank you, I know where it is. Is Nancy still there and mamasan-ing? Monster.
The fact that he used hidden camera indicats that he knew he was doing morally and / or legally wrong.
Or maybe thought wondering around Centro with a high priced digital camcorder out was not a good idea, right up there with a Rolex and some gold chains.
Or maybe thought wondering around Centro with a high priced digital camcorder out was not a good idea, right up there with a Rolex and some gold chains.
At this point, since all words fail, maybe a scientific heuristic approach could be tried. Since your expensive cam is now safe, you can try this scientific experiment:
1) post on Facebook your face and videos previously on pornhub, saying proudly "hey look at my videos, this is me, it was fun, I show you the REAL MEDELLIN!"
2) post the link on some local Spotted FB page, advertise it, again saying proudly "hey look what a good journalist I am, this is the real Medellin, I showed it to all the world";
3) wait a while, until the videos start to circulate on site among those who are interested;
4) go to Raudal and introduce yourself to people sitting in a bar ("Hey do you know me? Did you see these videos?? It's ME!! :-D"), invite them for a beer with you, and ask if they are happy that you made the place famous in the world;
5) wait that someone recognizes you, and report back the congratulations and pats on shoulders you will receive.
-
Will you next recommend the videographer exclaim "but you don't hold the copyright!" as a way to stop the beatings that would ensue?
I don't know why but I thought about the copyright angle the other day. I think that is a possibly a canned reason code when content is removed by the site owner. I would not put much stock in it. I like to err on the side of common sense. In this case I think it's more likely what many have said. People don't want to see their faces on a porno site indicating they are in a red light district.

Anyone going to Medellin from September 6-11?
I was going with two buddies but they had to cancel because of the flood in Houston.

I hit Centro last night, saw a tall, skinny, older gringo, with silver hair, wearing a black Batman t-shirt, on the back inscribed "100 percent prostitute".
Comical.
I talked to some of the girls, he was soliciting for 40 K pesos, bb sex.
All declined, and he gave his calling card to them, which most just tossed away.
He's obviously been there many times, he knew where to go and look.
I'm sure his bombardment approach must work with some of the desperate girls.
Just looked silly to me, wearing that dumb shirt.
To each their own I guess.

Whatever deals directly with the safety and ethics of P4P hobbyists in Medellin is well in scope, as it can help someone to keep his ass safe. My post is paradoxical hilarious, but maybe could save a life, or just a nose, should some schmuck after reading all this discussion here be now thinking to try on his own the thrill of video-reporting the Centro of Medellin. It's a very bad idea, and pointing it out again and again is in scope here.
Your comment, instead, does not add anything and is one more contribution to chit-chat. (not that I care, this thread is lively as few others also because of chit-chat). I suggest to refrain, but I understand it's just me and you will not agree. We are here to share information but also for fun. Thank you.

What you describe strikes me as a very good photo illustration for the "what not to do when traveling" page of Wikipedia.

I agree and recommend
Mongers to avoid Lindas Chicas. Mamasan there is unpleasant at best. Try Energy for high end casa and New Life for low end.
This owner of this place is notorious for being pushy, tricky and making the prices up for drinks and girls according to her mood which literally changes by the second. I find her (Nancy) nearly impossible to deal with. However, you stated 120 k / hour. Are you sure? Last time I went, I walked out realizing I had just paid for a drink for a girl that I was going to take upstairs but did not because the "negotiations" with Nancy just killed the whole mood for me. As far as I know, the girl never even got the drink. In fact I am sure she didn't!
They are consistenly good. The only time I had a bad time is when I go late and the LU is not poping. They even have a new Mamasan that is even more friendly and lets you get the wifi password. I think there is new management because the girls have new robes when they disrobe and there is a general sense of a new regime there.
