In Rio, it has to be a planned operation. Also, there are more milicias which are basically dirty cops who also murder a lot. Overall a lot more freelancers not used to answering to anybody. I've been here in Copacabana a few days and things are going well. Flight was a red-eye so the day I landed I crashed in my hotel (Royal Rio Palace) and just slept 12 hours through to get caught up. Ugh, just my luck, or maybe bad planning on my part. Looks like roundtrip flights from SAO to RIO are about $100 now. I'll probably just enjoy my time in SP then. I was trying to book 3 weeks before the departure date, but prices have gone up from $30 to $120. It was $50 this morning, too. =(I was waiting to get off work before I book the flight.
