Following on from the two posts below, I was due to meet a regular at Amour Russe this weekend but the site went off with the pictures of the girls on tour pulled down.

I did pick up the chatter from the Russian chat rooms on Wednesday but then she came back online today that they were raided on the morning she arrived on tour; interrogated for 5 hours and then let go but she had to make her way out of the country with her flatmate. L am not sure if some of the girls are still there. She did say that the Police were looking for the bosses but as we all know they are not in Paris.

The other worrying thing she said was that customer telephone numbers were being taken by the Police. I do not have confirmation if it was from the agents in France or the girls. All bookings are done by text.

So, I wanted to let the dust settle a bit and get some more info.

I didn't link to other forums, since I think it's simply not allowed on ISG. I suppose naming them is fine. There's the very aptly named "RussPuss" forum for Russian ladies discussing agencies, countries, customers, sharing tips, fears, hopes. Google-Translation makes a complete butchery of it, but that's better than nothing if you don't have a good grasp of Russian. There are several French forums for punters posting reviews, comments and occasional infighting / trolling, Youppie being the oldest most famous (but the whole France section has been disabled since prostitution has basically been deemed illegal) and smaller monger forums SexBoard and EscortFR.

Basically, Amour Russe and Charme Russe were raided, police had all addresses, mandates to intervene, got to all the ladies' places at once, interrogated all of them, searched their phones and the places. No news about what happened to the money and if girls have or will eventually get some back. Both agencies' sites are still down. When it happened, other agencies got understandably afraid, and 6 A Paris section went down from 390 to 320 advertised ladies. It's been going back up since yesterday and numbers are nearly normal now. And many reported, here and elsewhere, that some AR / CR ladies are once again on it, but obviously with a different organization.

From various RussPuss threads, it was clear that the 2 targeted agencies are / were run by related Armenian people, Charme Russe being more or less a spin-off / offshoot from AR, with probably staff being former Amour Russe people. Though overall, the agencies din't treat their escorts worse than any other Russian ones. There were also various reports of robbers in France / Paris, as happens in some other countries as well. Targeting escorts as easy prey, some scumbags doing it on their own but some being some organized gang. Reading awfully-translated RussPuss threads hadn't made it very clear to me until now who the gangs were. I mean, it's France, one can expects some North African robbers, for instance. Yet I remember a couple occasions where Russian girls were talking of Caucasus, if not downright Armenian, robbers. Yet it wouldn't make much sense that the agencies themselves would rob their own girls.

Events described in article seem to have occurred one or two days before the websites were shut down and reports of the raids surfaced, but article refers to 2 Russian agencies and Armenian mob, so there's no doubt it's another side of the whole affair. Basically, France-based underlings of the agencies were threatening and robbing other girls. Odds are, independent ones, since I'm not sure they'd go that aggressively against other agencies, to force them to join their own organization and agencies.

So, it really looks like this was not a case of French puritanism deciding to rid the country of sin, but police cracking down on nasty "business" practices and what looks like a "mongering" version of protection racket, after some Russian girls complained to French police about these criminal jerks and a year-long thorough investigation. AR and CR ladies were, from what one can suspect, mostly interrogated to check if they were themselves direct victims of threats, violence and robberies, and if they could spill the beans on the boss and the France-based tough guys / staff.

This explains why other agencies are still running and Russian girls are back on 6 A. The police was acting against some specific crimes, not against escorts-running agencies as a whole. The future of Eastern European France-based ladies isn't fully compromised, though some adaptations could happen. Other agencies could grow bigger and some new might appear. Yet it also means the cops might always keep an eye on the whole business.

Still no idea if the police caught some clients (if they acted very early on all places, odds are it was too early for "business appointments" if they kept clients' pics, numbers and addresses from seized phones, and if they're going to go after them. Since in these cases, they have fail-proof cases. Still, getting embarrassingly caught in the middle of a raid is a risk, though a low one. For instance, it happened to some punter / reviewer in Prague a few months ago.

As an aside, this might be a little frustrating for me; I had noticed and heard very good things about fiery redhead Amour Russe's Ilona, but she obviously won't travel with them anymore.

Even if this might make overall conditions better for them in the long run, I feel quite bad for the Russian ladies who were caught in it. They don't have the easiest job to begin with, and now this wrecks their hard work.

So it seems the main concerns are the scumbag robbers rather than the girls or agencies themselves? Which makes sense, I guess. You would think the police officers themselves would have enjoyed the company of the girls on more than several occasions.

When you think about it, these girls are actually pretty tough characters to be able to deal with the sorts of issues that would terrify most people.

Fingers crossed the situation will get sorted eventually and things can resume again with these agencies or similar.

OK, so this article suggests it wasn't merely the robbers they were targeting but the entire network.

Just got back from great timed in Paris. Hooked up withe 3 civilians then hit three P4P as well. St. Dennis was busy most of the time. AR night group of black ladies who were too pushy. 50€ and if they were not as pushy would have hooked up for a couple of them.

About 6 A, a common advice is also to look for girls who allow reviews. Sure, they or their handlers pick the good ones, but that's often considered a sign it's a more serious offer than if comments are fully closed. As usual, it's not fool-proof and there's no 100% correlation in one way or the other. Also, if the girl has selfies, that's obviously a good way to check if the pics fit.

AMR and CR were considered the most reliable, if not on the quality of services, at least on the accuracy of profiles and pictures. They had vids of their ladies, though they might not have been that recent.

As said, VIP Aphrodite and Russian Girls for Me (RGM) are other well-known agencies in the place. I'll add Amazing Russian Girls (ARG) to complete the list of the most famous ones. And looking at all their websites, I can spot on each one at least one girl if not more who displays an AMR-style photoshoot. They obviously all benefited from the recent closing of their main competitors.

One other site whose girls are often mentioned is Naiad, but that isn't exactly an agency but seems more of an aggregator / call-centre, with few control (or they just don't care) - often girls use several fake profiles along their real ones -so reliability seems quite low by comparison.
