I had a great time with the Wolf Pack in MDE. I meet several guys from this group, and they all were great guys.
Wolf was very helpful and patient with us newbies, if you want a safe and great time in MDE, try to get Wolf to show you around.
I will do my best to meet Wolf on his next trip back to MDE.

I just did a 2-week trip to Bogota, and am going back in November. I'm trying to decide if it is a mistake not to book Medellin.
There is a reason gringos skip Bogota, and go right to Medellin. I'm wondering what that reason is?
My research says that Bogota has the same venues for chicas, and actually a higher volume of each. My research says there are more casas, escorts, strip clubs, clip-joint strip clubs, etc in Bogota than Medellin. My research also says the pricing is not that much cheaper if at all in Medellin (with the exception possibly being the north zone clip joints in Bogota).
So I am wondering why so many gringos have decided to skip Bogota and do Medellin? Maybe GFE is much more prevalent in Medellin than Bogota? That Bogota is one big "tourist trap" of poor service? Or maybe Bogota & the Santa Fe district are perceived as too dangerous? Or maybe my research on venues & pricing is flawed?
I'll be in Medellin on 15th - 22nd and 26th - 27th also in Bogota 22nd - 26th pm if you want to hangout and show me the ropes this will be my first time in Medellin.

SHould I relocate for work, Medellin is where I would go.
P.S.: this is a question for ULTRA-regulars of Bogota. There is an area, south of CL. 19, probably west of Caracas, which I visited years ago by chance. Lots of small bars and music. Something like the NED in Centro of Medellin, but not an open-air sex district. Nothing like Santa Fe, I mean. The taxi driver told me the name of the area, but I forgot. Anyone knows some names of areas like that? I think it was even south of Bronx (RIP).

Before booking the trip, it was not an easy choice between the 2 cities. I had been to both a couple times each prior. Bogota definitely has a lot more options than Medellin in a monger's perspective. It's a much bigger city with probably 3 times the population. Here you will find chicas from all parts of Colombia, and unlike Medellin, nobody will question the purpose of your trip. You can easily blend in. But you will definitely pay higher prices for almost everything in Bogota including accommodation, food, chicas, taxis. Beside, weather in BOG is not as comfortable, traffic a lot worse and the altitude issue as the other member pointed out. So it really comes down to what you are looking for in your trip.

I actually traveled to Bogota many times for about a three year period from 2009 through about 2011, I have some great experiences with rollo chicas, a few nights were off the charts as I partied like a rock star, but that was back 7 and 8 years ago and have not mongered in Bogota in over 5 years now as back in 2010 stated with the Paisas in medellin.
You can find plenty of suitable fun and adventurous chicas be it in medellin or Bogota, for me the weather in medellin hands-down blows away the cold and rainy Hi altitude medellin weather and is a big deciding factor for me and others.
I sit right now in my apartment in medellin and we had just a brief sprinkling of rain this morning but right now it is 70 f outside and I sit here in shorts with my balcony door fully opened.
As for chicas, we have a wide variety of venues, casas, prepagos, escorts, street walkers and the higher end clubs like La Isla and Fase Dos. Just a few hours ago I enjoyed a 20 yo escort, low mileage, cute and adorable, I paid 200,000 plus her taxi, her fee was 150,000 but since her service was GF like experience, and it was, I gave her a 50 mil propina. She was the third escort I have had over in the past 8 days. I will repeat with her.
The medellin casa girls can be had for about 50 mil to 100 mil depending the length of time and the casa.
I suggest that you visit medellin next trip, you will be back.

If you are more inclined to GFE. Then Medellin is the way to go. Keep in mind that you will have to connect with chicks through facebook and set up appointments on your own. As the casa experience in Medellin isn't any better than in Bogota.
If you don't have a list of contacts on facebook then I strongly suggest you look into staying at the Mansion in Medellin. As it is the only place I have found that consistently has short time girls that give BBBJ with no up sell and a full blown GFE is the norm.
Is that there are more varieties of restaurants. It is difficult to eat cooked vegetable dish or a variety of fish dishes in Medellin and other cities. Also there is more variety in working girls, and there are more cultural and artistic events in Bogotá.
I'd like to thank all you guys for the quick replies. I have a much better idea now of why Medellin is more populated with gringos. The climate, altitude, cost of living, and in some areas GFE is all better in Medellin, and word has traveled in the monger network.
In the two weeks I was in Bogotá I got lucky in that it barely rained the whole time. However the sun didn't come out much either. And as for wearing shorts & a t-shirt on a balcony. Well lets just say if you are brave you can wear jeans & a short sleeve shirt for about an hour or two in the afternoon. Otherwise, it's sleeves required at all times. Also, I never got used to the altitude completely, and I am in pretty decent shape & drink a lot of water.
Fortunately, the prices for lodging, food, etc were not a problem for me. After spending so much time in Tijuana, Mexico & the Dominican Republic, the costs of those things in Bogotá were almost half what I am used to. The lower costs in Medellin would feel like a give-away to me.
What strongly attracts me to Medellin is the idea that GFE is more readily available there. However, the notion that one better go to Medellin with pre-prepared Facebook hookups, etc says to me that GFE is maybe a little more available there than in Bogotá, but not really.
I'm not a casa guy or escort guy really. I much prefer the strip cubs, the non clip-joint ones. I'd like to believe that I will cruise into the 3 strip clubs near Degrief (or is it el centro), and see many more soft sweet chicas than I did at Fiebre or Troya, etc. I'd like to believe that 2-3 out of ten will be GFE material instead of the 1 out of 10 at best that it is in Bogotá.
Probably not the case though huh?

"To each his own" and "YMMV" are the rules. I bet you will love Medellin and you will never want to come back. (and forget also Facebook "supermodels", unless you are interested to try girls already mastering the art of entertaining rich gringos).
