They're ok if you're here on a long holiday or a permanent stay. Since you said you're after hot girls and not concerned about spending money on them, just skip them unless you're willing to lower your standards. Remember the hot ones are getting 100's of messages daily, even the dogs get attention there. It's not really the money you would be wasting, but the time IMO (especially if you're here on short holiday). Many of those girls don't even resemble their photo. If you insist on meeting online, just set up a quick date near your place and then make it really simple not posh, like a cup of coffee or some cheap noodles. No need to initially spend a lot of money here, just go with the flow and if you like her and she's hot, then by all means go for it, either set up another date or hit a nightclub and have some fun fun.

Even before I was living in Thailand I had no trouble hooking up with non-pro chicks on websites when I was only visiting for a few days. As you said, it is very time consuming. A rule of thumb with this as with many issues concerning picking up chicks is that if you can't do it at home or other places then don't expect to be able to do it there. I have been doing that type of thing on the internet since before there were dating sites and only chat rooms. And before the internet I was calling the party line deal picking up chicks. I don't think of them as good pickup spots and if you do pick up a lady in one of these places she's going to be a FL. Last December I took a different "date" to each place. I didn't notice any obvious FL at Bed and only a couple of possibilities at Q Bar, but I wasn't hunting so I may have missed someone.

I just frequent the usual haunts such as the go-go bars, MP, the popular pick-up clubs such as Climax and also book escorts through one agency, Bangkok Gold. So I'm not the best person to make suggestions. If you speak some Thai, are prepared to spend a good bit of time trying to identify the right lady, are not worried about being unsuccessful, and will be happy to get laid once or twice over five days, you might try hitting the night spots that are popular with the Thais, such as RCA. You could also just start talking to clerks, ladies on their lunch breaks and be on the lookout in the malls. However, there are many other guys on the Forum who are much more knowledgeable than I in such matters and may think I'm way off base. I defer to their expertise.

But 9 times out of 10 nature takes its course and afterwards we remain friends or more. If I want a one night stand then there are plenty of FL to go around.
