If this girl did do anal, it would ruin my perception that only ugly girls do anal. LOL. J
Over the past 30+ years I've had plenty of anal from many girls, pros and complete amateurs, who were 8s and 9s. Many of the girls were in Bangkok; they were all pros. The amateurs who did and liked anal were all in North America.
Change at reputable exchange booths. They're all run by Thai banks, or other large companies. Unlike, say, Myanmar, Bali or Venezuela, you don't have to go into a back room or somebody's jewelry shop to exchange money. There is no black market, it's all above board. The odds of getting fake bills this way are extremely small.
The 1, 000B bill has a silver metallic stripe and a sort of holographic watermark. Look at one. Many times when you pay with one the clerk will do the same. Those are really hard to fake. Check the bills and, if it's there, you're OK.
Stop worrying!
Yes! No need to worry about counterfeit Baht. The North Koreans are only printing US$100 LOL. While its true many of the money changers are big companies, such as Supperich1965 which I frequently use because their rates are excellent, in fact there are small independent money changers in Bangkok, and some of these are in jewelry stores. For example there is a jeweler near the Chit Lom BTS on the south side that changes money. Generally these independents offer the poorest rates, though better than the banks. Personally, I'd only use a bank if I have dollars that have a mark on them I missed. The money changers will not accept these. I can't understand why anyone would accept the ridiculously low exchange rates the banks offer. If you're exchanging US$2000 there may be as much as a THB2500 difference between the best and worst rates you'll find. That's almost enough to get 90 minutes of debauchery with Apple over at Cherry's. Even the difference on US$100 is enough to pay for some great street food.
I think a guy on a limited budget would do well to bring dollars, euros or pounds, seek out the best exchange rates, and avoid the ATMs and banks altogether. Doing it this way will save you enough to pay for some extra pussy.
Over time these small differences add up.
I was in Bangkok on Makha Bucha day. Nana Entertainment Plaza and Soi Cowboy were closed and dark. However, there were some bars on Soi 4 still open, just not in NEP. Also, some of the discos were open as well. And after midnight, some of the street bars will open.
Thanks Sir. You're a gentleman. I'm staying in the Landmark so not far to go to Soi 4. (had some fun times in Twins bar before with admittedly ropey women!). Here's hoping climax disco is open later on!
Anyone know if DR BJ etc will be open?
Cheers
Arriving Sun May 12 early and had planned a later morning / early afternoon excursion to Cowboy or Nana etc. However, hotel I am put in (Narathiwas) seems to be 4-5 km to south in Chongnonsee. Wonderful! So I guess a taxi is the only way. Questions.
A. Anyone have other thoughts?
Be. Anyone know anything about "friendliness" of Narathiwas if I phone for a visitor?
Well travelled but new to Thailand / Bangkok. And no spring chicken.
So it would be safe to exchange US$ at Thailand banks? So much for using money changers since they are suppose to be everywhere in Bangkok.
I have only been to Thailand once a few years ago so I don't know how to tell a real bill vs a fake bill.
Vasu on the corner of 7/1 gives the best rate. 1% or more above what banks offer, may not seem a lot but that's where to go. On fake bills, never known anybody who had this problem anywhere in Thailand.

Gali
Cowboy, Nana and Patpong are evening venues, if you want daytime action try the bars, soapies or oilies. Lots on this and other forums re where to go.

Cheers
You may want to try BASH as it closes very late from what has been told and is just down the street from Climax. BASH is above the Australian Pub, across the street from the Grand President Hotel.

However, my idea of a midday excursion (apart from the obvious) was to get my bearings of places in daylight so to make things easier at night. Also, once the job starts there will be no other daytime opportunities to see the highlights and the quality of the eye candy. I also need to sort out how to get to places from my hotel and better doing that daytime and at leisure rather than at night / after work when a part of my anatomy is demanding urgent attention.

Thanks guys for all the feedback on fake bills.
I never thought anything about fake bills until one friend said that he got some from a money changer once. I am glad that no one here on the forum have received fake bills since most of you guys go to Thailand a lot more than my friends.
I will use money changers since they are everywhere the last time I was in Thailand so they would be easier for me. Thanks again in putting my mind at ease.

You are just as likely to get a fake $ or £ in my view.
A prostitutes look- my theory.
I think the main factor is the face followed by the body. Everything else no big deal.
The other night my bf was trying to get her hair just right- she got frustrated she couldn't do it to her satisfaction. I told her your hair really doesn't matter if a guy barfines you or not. LOL. Don't know what she thought of my comments.
I may be getting a bit too comfortable with this girl as I tell her what I really think. LOL. Ex- she tried a push up bra for the first time, I knew right off the bat I didn't like it and told her so. Since she doesn't have much too push up the bra looked like it pushed up a lot of air. LOL.
With her regular tiny bra theres a bit of boobs showing- very sexy considering she not a well endowed girl.
Heavy eyeliner make-up. I told her no good-makes her look like a prostitute. LOL. I didn't really say it makes her look like a prostitute but thats what I thought.
Fake eyelashes- told her no good.
Don't know if the tinkering is because she's not as popular as she was not long ago. Before she was alwasy getting called off stage and getting a barfine while I was there. Now when I'm there she doesn't get called off stage at all.
I can live with an ok face. Have to have a rockin' body.
