And has I said in a previous post I never felt unwelcome in Korean places.

Also in Pattaya farangs are no longer the main force in the city, many years have elapsed, the world is changing, we just have to get used and adapt.

Angeles City historically was to help get soldiers and sailors get their rocks off. Mainly US military. Philippines had a fascination with America. Almost all the bars were managed by westerners. They kept their bars stocked with fresh faces and western clientele demanded cheap prices. It was this way for a long time even after USA pulled out troops. Visiting Angeles was fun and cheap. Girls from provinces, simple, unjaded, ready to please, awed by westerners, eyes twinkling with an expectation of good life married to an westerner. Slowly there was a trickle of Asians mainly Koreans which has become a torrent now. I remember the time when the girls did not want to go with Asians.

Solution as far as Koreans are concerned is money. After all the main attraction is money. So Koreans started throwing money at everything that moves and got the attention so much so that some girls will not go with anybody else. When there is a demand supply will come in the form of hotels, casinoes, massage places, bars mainly catering to Koreans. Korean businessmen having conquered Cebu know how to influence politicians by throwing money are entrenching themselves in Angeles. Pretty soon it will be playground for Koreans only if it has not become one now.

Then it jumped from 1500 to almost 4000 in a few short years. So anybody going to Angeles to have a cheap vacation with girls think twice Be prepared to pay lot of money, runners, stuck ups, rejections.

I like the fact that the girls speak English, there's an "anything goes" feel to the place and there some fine hotels now. The ABC Hotel is so nice, that I actually consider staying there a holiday in itself, not taking into account the girls.
