Safety: For me Pattaya is a very safe place to travel around, not once have I ever felt threatened.

Transportation: I found almost any form of transportation fair and pretty much on time depending on traffic. The baht bus scene really opens up a wide area. The overall transportation network in Thailand is fantastic.

Food: A wide variety to be found in Pattaya, nothing much to complain about with the Aussie beef being imported to keep the burgers from tasting odd.

Hotels: Everything from dirt cheap to a bit on the expensive side for everyones budget in Pattaya.

Massages: I do like a good long massage by a pretty girl to break up the afternoons, Pattaya has plenty of these places.

Bar scene: I do like the regular bar scene with cute girls to keep me company and or be taken away for some fun, Pattaya is loaded with them.

Communication: I'll be honest here, I do like short conversations with women but at times I just can't stand having to listen to them. Not being able to communicate can be both a blessing and a curse. I'm not too upset that its hard to talk to some girls in Pattaya.

Before my first time going there I asked a buddy what it was like. He said it is like Pattaya, but 1/50 of the size. That is why I really think you can not even compare AC with Pattaya. In AC you have Fields and you have Perimeter. It would be no tough feat to visit every venue in AC in the same day. In Pattaya I don't even think you could do it in the same week. But if I had to compare then I would say Pattaya is like Las Vegas, whereas AC is like Reno.

And there are 100,000 places to meet up, unlike the Kokomo's and Margarita Station deal of AC.

So most of my time in AC is spent either waiting for night time, or waiting until it is time to get out of there. It got to where my girlfriend would just take the bus and meet me in the airport in Manila for us to head off to another city. Eventually I broke up with her. Last couple of trips to PI, I haven't even gone to AC. I have just stayed in Manila. I have friends that love AC though and swear by it. But they will admit that if you go from Pattaya to AC then it will be anticlimactic. Hookers in Korea will generally ignore non-koreans for xenophobic, linguistic and racial reasons, because they can afford to.
