San Diego only had 1 club at that time, Las Vegas, 3.
For the upper class, swinging is more of a private affair. Their parties aren't open to everyone who has a few pesos. That's why you'll find mostly middle class people at a swingers club.
Any decent swingers club will limit access of single men. As a rule, single men behave badly in a swingers club. Especially when the number of single men greatly outnumbers the number of women. Couples are much more likely to be interested in either another woman, or another couple than a single man.
For each club, there are 2 to 3 open swinger parties on the weekends, but you need to be connected with the local swingers community to find them. Don't ask me, I'm not connected here and don't plan to be any time soon.
From what I understand, Viviana in Bogota pays women to fill the club for nights when single men are allowed in. Lilli in Medellin probably does the same.
The Mansion maybe has a higher tripadvisor rating. YMMV I guess.

I see it a little differently. I do notice the mentality you described but I don't think it's very common among guys who spend time in places beyond the Mansion, casas, strip clubs, and freelancer bars. Every so often, and it is very noticeable, I see a guy who is in a supermarket, a university campus or other public place leering and gesturing at random women. It's not a good look. Unless a guy is developmentally disabled, it doesn't take long for anyone to pick up on the social cues in the reactions of people (not just the women) when they behave like they are in a monger venue in a public setting that is not a monger venue.

In Amsterdam, Paris, Milano, Rome, or some other major capitals of sinful Europe, the number of genuine swinger clubs (no P4 P permitted, no paid girls on site) is on the order of 20,30, 50, even more than that. All in a city with few millions citizens. Netherlands rules.
Higher floor is better for sure. That is why apartments cost more the higher the floor, and the penthouse is the most expensive. At Nutibara ask for a room that faces the back of the hotel, it's much quieter. A few months ago when the water main construction project that's been going on around Centro for the past four years swung into high gear around Parque Bolivar, it didn't matter which floor you were on. The sound of the all night concrete drilling was brutal. I don't know how anyone could sleep without earplugs. Earplugs are your travel friend.

Medellin.
My wingman and I arrived in Medellin from Bogota via VivaColombia, a Colombian national airline (flight was $29, but ended up being $54 after adding baggage and selecting seat. A lot like Spirit), at about 5:30 pm. I had made arrangements with Fernando for a pickup. The Medellin airport (MDE) is pretty small and simple, so, luggage was ready almost immediately. Since I was traveling domestically from Bogota, no Customs or Immigration crap. Sure as shit, Fernando had one of his workers waiting with a sign with my name on it. I was a little confused because the guy was with some tour company and tried to get me to sign some contract for "security" and "the car. " I politely refused that shit. Additionally, I hadn't asked about the price in advance and got stuck with an 80 mil pesos bill (ouch) for the ride. That was a ripoff, but, if you're going to be ripped off, its always on the taxi ride in, right?

There were couples, but interested only to couples. No single girls on site to entertain single men. I remember a Colombian guy with 3 (three) young girls looking like "next-door-type". They were pampering him as a king. One of them flirted a bit with me, but only to give me her number for another time (that is, they were paid by the guy).
I saw some ladies clearly paid by the club in Dreams, if I am not wrong. I did not partake, as if I want to stay with a prepago I don't go to a club.
