I really do hope I am wrong on the Bamboo Bar situation. I left the place depressed, but luckily a smile is usually just around the corner in BKK. The girls had no energy or smiles about them, so it was not just a lack of freelancers that was cause for concern.

Thanks for the heads up on Soi 22. I must confess it's been about 2 years, since I hit any of the bars there. The massage venues are the first things on my mind around that area. Titanium still around? I know Queen's Park Plaza does not get much pub, so it would be good to hear some stories from the members.

You are right about it being slow. I had the pick of the litter every night. The selection of girls was down a bit, but the lack of competitors more than made up for it. Even near closing time, there were still hot girls left and many were asking for B3,000 to B4,000 up front and dropping the asking price to B1,500 as soon as I laughed, rolled my eyes or turned around to walk! LOL!

I've never seen actual ROD criteria posted by our Great Leader. I can say that when a new member makes a first post of more than one paragraph, it often becomes an ROD.

Adam's post was indeed informative, although some BKK vets would find it repetitive. My biggest concern with his post is access to some personal information about him.

No need for an argument. I realize the original idea was for a fun jab at a buddy, hey RTFF LOL! The problem is that it's not that clear, and very open to misinterpretation by the reader or misuse when genuine anger is behind the response. I'm a regular in Asia, but just an infrequent visitor to South America and I was turned off, going to those threads. That thread is brutal to "outsiders" and I would not want to see the Asia threads turn into similar hostile grounds. I don't even bother posting in the South America threads. I was also a member of a Canadian Board, and it was so full of shills and attacks that I left that one too.

Yes sorry about the silly question. What I meant was that Thai girls often exaggerate about family relationships, using words more lossly than westerners. Girls that claim to be sisters, 9 times out of 10 don't actually have the same father or same mother. I presume someone quoted as a "mother" could easily be an auntie, cousin, close friend/protector etc.

I find it a little unlikely (but not 100% impossible) that a mother and daughter would be so brazen as to work in the same bar. It doesn't fit with Thai moral values.
What mother could show her face, allowing her daugther to be bar-fined by any guy qnting to screw her? Again a retorical question.

Being an incredible skeptic, I wouldn't believe these 2 woomen's story without proof which is obviously not available. Of course i could be wrong.
And in the end, the fantasy could be had by someone whether based on truth or not. But would not be my interest. I am embarrassed to say that I have done "real" sisters, separated by a long time gap, once. But both were good looking and both D cups.

Very soon I’ll be coming to Thailand. I’ve been there before but am by no means any expert on things talked about on this forum nor do I speak any Thai. I have some things to attend to while there, the reason of my trip, but they are uninteresting in this context. Besides that I will have a lot of spare time, which I intend to use in a fun and dirty way.

I am not rich and I am travelling on a limited budget. No business class for me, unfortunately. That goes for plane, hotels and women. Although I, of course, wished I was wealthier person that’s not so bad. Why, you might ask. Well, I am not looking for the high class experience, quite on the opposite. This is the perfect moment to be living in the lost world, a world that is long gone back in the western society where I am living/slowly committing suicide.

So I am somewhat attracted to the more filthy side of the market. That means streetwalkers, brothels serving the Thai markets and (unfortunately rarely seen) mature women in their 40-50ies. Of course I normally prefer beautiful girls between 20-25 but that’s what I am looking for back home. Although I would gladly go with an attractive friendly young girl, in Thailand I also want something different.

As I said I am no expert in these matters, but I have done some research, both on the internet and in real life. Particularly mature ladies is hard to find. I am not talking about 30-year old bargirls but housewife types and divorced women in the age 40-50.

I read somewhere on this forum about mature ladies in the Lumpini park. I went there a few times both in the day and in the evening and walked around but found nothing. That was a disappointment.

Another place I went looking for matures is the big street parallel to Khao San Road, the one on the west side of the Democracy Monument. On the left side of the street (heading west) late in the evening I have seen some mature streetwalkers, but they are not many. Not far away on the parallel street on the south there is a short time hotel.

An interesting experience I found in Chinatown after a long search. So, I was walking up and down the streets of China town. The streets were crowded, full of (Chinese) thais, and rarely if ever was a farang face to be seen. The sun was setting and I thought of going back to my hotel when I passed by what seemed to be a big garage (if I remember correctly). Outside was sitting a woman in her forties. I almost didn’t notice her, but when I walked by she talked to me. I didn’t quite understand her at first, with all the noise of street surrounding us, but I heard the word ‘massage’ and it seemed as if she wanted me to follow her inside. I agreed. "The garage" turned out to be a shabby hotel, apparently for long term staying. She led me up through the stairs and then to a little room at the end of a hallway. It was a small room full of stuff for permanent living. She told me to take a shower, while she started undressing. I showered and then went out to her and she told me to lie down on the bed. Her attitude was relaxed, friendly but quite uninterested. Then there was some mechanical sex in two positions. Afterwards she gave me a really good massage. I got dressed and we said good bye. The whole session was 300 bht. When I came out on the street it was already dark. The whole was very unerotic and but that wasn’t expected either. And I was not looking for any GFE or quality sex, I just wanted this new seedy experience which is not available back home. I have to say it was interesting. This was on a street connecting to the roundabout road junction in Chinatown.

Walking on the streets connecting to the roundabout I passed by several streetwalkers who sometimes were hanging outside what seemed to short time hotels. They were often not quality girls but I liked the off beaten track sightseeing anyway. I didn’t go with anyone of them but maybe next time I will. The roundabout itself also has its share of streetwalkers who were coming out in the evening.

If anyone has any tips about the local market or mature ladies (in Bangkok or Pattaya), please share. Maybe I’ll see you in BKK soon.

You are absoultely correct. If someone has absolutely no knowledge about Bangkok then his report is valuable. I tend to forget that there are people out there who know absolutely nothing about Bangkok, Thailand or Thai culture. Unfortunately, some of them are senior members on this forum who pass themselves off as experts.

And there are also farang residents of Thailand who get confused about the most basic of information, such as the names of hotels in their neighbourhood, and even get the names and locations of (mainly Thai-oriented) resorts on the eastern seaboard mixed up, etc, etc. These posters, quite comically, also try to pass themselves off as experts.

It's no big deal of course. We're all here to share a bit of info and opinion, and have a bit of fun.

I also got an odd vibe at Spicegirls. There were some hot dancers, doing their thing on the poles and spotlight stages around the main stage. I'm not sure if they are the Coyote Dancers Spider was referring to, since they seemed to be regular Go-Go dancers to me. The best of the bunch was pulled from the stage quickly, as another customer made his move. Funny thing is that they never left the bar, while I was there. They just drank in the corner. One of the girls took my drink order, while I took in the view of the dancers, one right in front of me on a table dance type stage right in the center of my booth. There's one of them at each booth area.

She came back with my drink and ask me if she could have one. She was cute, so I bought her one, while I was checking out the dancers and then asked her how much for ST/LT. She said she could only go to the ST hotel that night. I thought I misunderstood her or she misunderstood me. I told her, no .. back to my hotel. She shook her head, and said she could not. Maybe tomorrow night, was the response. Yeah, sure and I paid the bill and left.

Too bad, since there's some talent there.

I did the Cowboy bar hop, through some of the well known bars, but was short on time so I probably missed a lot. Long Gun, Rawhide, and Bacarra are looking a bit worn. Lot's of girls in the front of the bars, trying to pull customers in. I had a girl from the Shark Bar snag me. Quite attractive, but very annoying once we got inside. I couldn't understand her, as her english skills were quite bad and she spoke too fast. She wanted me to barfine her, the moment we hit the seat. I passed and avoided what surely would have been certain disaster.
