Thanks for the update and I respect your posts but not so fast... I've had very good success there over my times as well and as of March I still had a very good pick up there. It seems many girls travel in packs between there, Gullivers, Beer Garden etc.... Depends when things are happening. I'll try to check it out in a week and a half when I am there and July and August as well and update.
Also there's a collection of little places on Soi 22 that was hit and miss as well you might want to look at. Small little beer huts with pool tables and such. A few full timers there and a few girls on their night off of work. Had some dogs there and also had times there were some absolutely lovely ladies there, looks and personality.
Anyways, personally, I would not say it is dead yet. Maybe it is dying or going down but during my visits had success. So I will still keep it as a place to stop into just to check out for a while longer. FYI... a few thai girls have told me that tourism / tourists are way low, crowds are way low, weather is bad, etc... she has said all week and two weeks has been slow. Good for our selection and our prices... so maybe they just were not out in full force on the free lance front.
Tansak,
I really do hope I am wrong on the Bamboo Bar situation. I left the place depressed, but luckily a smile is usually just around the corner in BKK. The girls had no energy or smiles about them, so it was not just a lack of freelancers that was cause for concern.
Thanks for the heads up on Soi 22. I must confess it's been about 2 years, since I hit any of the bars there. The massage venues are the first things on my mind around that area. Titanium still around? I know Queen's Park Plaza does not get much pub, so it would be good to hear some stories from the members.
You are right about it being slow. I had the pick of the litter every night. The selection of girls was down a bit, but the lack of competitors more than made up for it. Even near closing time, there were still hot girls left and many were asking for B3,000 to B4,000 up front and dropping the asking price to B1,500 as soon as I laughed, rolled my eyes or turned around to walk! LOL!
