When it's too good to be true it's usually too good to be true
I got a call from the friend of the woman who spent 20 cedis on my dinner, even after I insisted I did not need dinner and paid for the drinks before she ordered the meal, that she was upset that I did not pay for the meal. Talk about confusion even after I insisted that I did not want dinner and paid for her drink immmediately. I guess I beat her at her own game by getting out of paying. Her friend told me that she was not calling me because she had to pay this lousy 20 cedis even though she did not have to do that. When I tried to take her out for dinner with me paying, she didn't think I would keep my word. As for her friend with the 4X4 car, she is flying off to Mali for an unspecified amount of time on 'hospitality'. Perhaps she is a 'call-girl'. All very confusing. Any theories? In the end, got 4 girls at no more than the price of a meal each time but hard to get rid of them afterwards. Check out Duplex, nice bar/disco in Osu.[QUOTE=Hesekiels]yes, sometimes one can indeed find such girls, but according to my experience it is rather the exception! Or am I mistaken?
Cheers!

CAPE COAST RPT or Sad Cousin to Nov 1, 09 Rpt

This is not an advertisement. I reported from Takoradi on Nov 1 09. Said I would post a Cape Coast report so here it is. A little late but. Hey.
Approx 60 cedi's per night. Sat tv, in suite bath frig, clothes washing service, lawn chairs and BBQ grills on/in the beach sand. I recommend this place because they let me pay with a credit card before I left for Ghana, which in turned freed up some extra cash for other things and it let me leave my credit cards at home. Those of you rich folks don't have to worry about that type of thing. But for me who works for a living, it was very convenient. Plus they picked me up at the STC in Cape Coast.
Bad thing, it's about 10-15 miles on the Takoradi side of Cape Coast. It cost approx 10 cedi back and forth. You will pass Elimina and the fishermen station and the STC station and Cape Coast University. Never had time to explore the university but meant to.
Good thing its right on the ocean, moderately priced food and spirits. No other women, so bring your own but those that like an ocean setting and semi deserted, it's perfect. Maybe for the more mature crowd. You have complete privacy on the beach if you walk down about 100yds. Cop a squat and meditate. The mist from the crashing waves will keep you cool.
Couple this with going to the CAPE COAST castle, not Elimina castle and talk to the boys on the right side of the castle and if you've copped in the US you know how to cop there (sticky ickey). Just be discrete.
Every Sunday they close the streets (in the heat of the day) at the big market (forgot the name, but ask taxi driver about Sunday market) in Cape Coast and there you can replenish your prospects. Also in Elimina they have several "target rich" social venues.
