Will be staying at Cascadas this week. Quick question: what is the convention at HK at bringing girls from Chicago / SGs into your hotel room? Is that allowed? Also, when I get into Mexico, I usually take a taxi to HK (there's always a long line near the border crossing, as soon as you step into Mexico). Where do you go to catch the HK shuttle? I never see the HK shuttle near the border.

However girls from other bars won't go there unless they're off shift. SGs may still require you to pay a hotel fee if they agree to Cascadas but are partnered with a different hotel.
See attached picture for the shuttle pick up spot. After you reach the taxis, keep going and turning right and you'll hit it. Alternatively, after you exit the immigration building, there will be a short sliding fence at the first left turn on the walkway (still before the turnstile exit) where 1-2 guys are chilling. Tell them you're looking for the zona shuttle and they'll let you through so you can shortcut through the parking lot side street. Shuttle starts going around 3 pm, and it's free but make sure to tip a few bucks.
T reached out yesterday and asked if I wanted to hang out OTC. We met up around zona rio and she asked if I had talked to our friend lately so I let her read the last few text messages we had exchanged a couple days ago because it was some drama she had been going through back home that I didn't feel like full out explaining myself. She then started asking if I missed her or if I had any deeper feelings for her other than just friends so I was honest about liking her a lot but not anything close to being in love or anything like that. Felt like she was sort of testing me to see how I would answer but I didn't really care either way, so I had no problem being truthful. Met up with the aforementioned girl again off the clock. The original plan was to meet up with her while she was working but I didn't end up making it down there in time due to some other stuff I had to take care of. She sent a text earlier in the night asking when I was going to arrive but I told her I was falling behind on time to get down there to get my own room and apologized. I suggested maybe postponing it for another time but then I offered to pick her up after work and give her a ride home, maybe spend some time together, just as a kind gesture not really thinking she would take me up on it. On some level I also wanted to see if she wanted to hang on her own personal time or preferred to keep things somewhat transactional. She told me to go ahead and head down to pick her up when she got off which I was pleasantly surprised by. Got down there and she was 100% sober which is a change of pace from the last few times we have been together LOL. I apologized again for not making it down while she was working and she made a joke about it being ok since we have my backseat anyway. We dropped off her things in my car and went to a civie bar near the Caesar hotel that had a live band playing. The bar served food so I got her something to eat since she said she was hungry and got a few drinks as well. We were kissing, dancing, taking pics, videos, etc. Making fun of the way other people were dancing. The live band wasn't actually too bad and even threw some rock songs in English on their set. Afterwards she started telling me about her family and past relationships, stuff I didn't know anything about. Headed back to my car and had some fun before leaving to drop her off. Handed the security guy at the lot a 5 and jokingly told him to keep people away from my car and he laughed and gave me a fist bump. On our way to her house I told her let's see if I remember how to get there without you giving me directions. Ended up getting it all correct except for 1 small turn that I'm now aware of which she was impressed by. I told her don't worry I'm not going to come and stalk you LOL. She said it would actually be nice to show up and surprise her sometime as long as I brought her some flowers. I said wow really maybe one of these days you'll get a visit from me then and she said ok. Before leaving I did ask if any other girls from the bar lived in the area as someone else had speculated and she said no thank God LOL. She said she lives in that area because she has other family that lives in the same neighborhood. Got a nice kiss goodnight and headed to the border way later than I'm used to but on the positive side, only a couple minutes in line to cross over to this side of the border.

Sounds nice that you got out of the Zona and saw her being sober. In my past experiences this time of year is easy to find girls looking for some sort of novio for the holidays especially if they live in Tijuana and are feeling lonely.
Will do a 2 to 3 week Asia tour, end of Nov into December, Tokyo, HCMC, Bangkok, Pattaya, Singapore, Jakarta. Will stay at each location 3 or 4 nights depending on how much funs can be had.
Tokyo is a good gateway to Asia with JAL's Zipair flying Boeing 787 nonstop 10 hours from LAX to Narita for $400-500 RT. From Tokyo many regional airlines can be booked to various spots like 6 hour nonstop to Bangkok for $250 -300 RT.
Lots of fun can be had with beautiful girls with good food so cheap. Let me know if you want to go.
Flew down to Tijuana a week or two ago. Stayed at Cascadas as usual; checked in on Monday evening. Rooms were 70% off with VIP. First HK girl I saw was Kiss; she said she was 22 and from Sinaloa. She was gorgeous but didn't like my favorite position (prone bone). Then I saw Gielsa (also at HK), which was a fantastic session. She said she was 26 and from Sonora. Her body was interesting; her ass looked fake but felt real. Maybe she had it surgically sculpted? Not sure. Next session was Peggy at HK, who said she was 21 from Monterrey. One day there will be a fire at HK and people will die in the ensuing stampede. Also I prefer young, sweet spinners, and maybe 20% of HK girls are both hot and not sharky.
Check out on Thursday morning. Had some hiccups when leaving; one of the border crossings was closed. Taxi driver told me there was a three-hour line at the other (not sure if that was BS or not). So I paid $30 for him to drive me to Otay, then another $60 for an Uber to the airport (the blue line doesn't go to Otay). Not sure if this was the right call but I didn't want to miss my flight.
My fellow Tijuana veteran, I hope you save enough time to make it to Jakarta. I just got back from there. Quality of ladies blows the balls off of Tijuana or Soy 6 Pattaya.

Next year Mexico will elect its first female president and more than likely to be the same party as the other females. So in those six years of her reign it will be interesting to see if this is the opportunity to make a change. The biggest obstacle might be the migrant issue at this time since that makes it harder for the US to back a more open pedestrian bridge which would require more agents.

Being adjacent to the border is an incredible asset. Like you can see the americas outlets from Hong Kong. It's literally right across the border.
I suspect they put the tolerance zone there (not just putas; remember it's a tolerance zone for drugs up against the border) because it's basically as far as you can push things towards the fringes of the city, away from the center. But you're right. If they were to do the zoning today, they would probably push it east or south. And that land in zona would be prime retail for day trippers.

We are planning to have the hottest time in Jakarta.
Unfortunately it has to be the last stop as nonstop flights from Tokyo on Garuda are way too expensive. We have to take shorter regional flights to HCMC, Bangkok, Singapore then Jakarta.
You are right. We may be worn out or run out of time by the time we get down to Jakarta. I am familiar with the ins and outs those cities so we can get out of airports and check in hotels quickly, spend 2 or 3 nights at each, hit the best spots, have fun then get out to airports for the next spots, not wasting any time. I usually travel that fast, have enough fun in each spot but never stay too long anywhere to put down roots hehe.

You can go to the Zona at night and not feel the need to find a girl if you already had an escort. You will also have the opportunity to eat better food and see a different side of the city. For me spending multiple days in the Zona is just depressing.
Just a heads up on taxi drivers is don't believe anything they say. The apps for the border crossing aren't the most reliable but at least you can see the basic wait time. They are actually supposed to have an accurate APP developed next year so hopefully it's more precise. Also I've mentioned this before but they have a Facebook page devoted to people waiting in line to give real time information on the wait.
The only border crossing closed is the Pedwest and I haven't heard of many 3 hour wait times for pedestrians. In the future you can also use a bus that will pick you up on Revolution and drive you thru the border for only $10. Not sure what time your flight was but something that you could look into for your next visit.

The other day in the paper they had a group that was trying to convince the city officials to turn part of Revolution and some of the are before the Zona into the Zona Rosa. They want to make it more welcoming for LGBTQ in the same manner as Hillcrest.
Also this week they are supposed to start on construction for the new highway above Avenida Internacional.
Lots of changes coming but with the recent drop in the dollar the demand for new homes has fallen. So right now things might actually start to slow and prices drop. Just depends on the costs in SD.
The Zona is on of Tijuana's single greatest sources of revenue. This the reason why Mexico expends so much money on law enforcement. There is lot of other areas near the border that can be refeveloped. We should also remember that struggles just to keep control from the cartels. The drug gangs and corruption will be Mexico's biggest concern for many years to come.
