I had personal business near d9 so I thought I'd revisit it and a few other nearby streets, this is what I found. Yes the barbar shops are still spread out, I went there at 3pm, so it was quite hard to look inside so I don't know how attractive the girls are, I saw 3-4 possible locations, more on other streets than the one mentioned. Again given the cost 200 vs 150k, and the distance to q11 I wouldn't male it a habit of going here.

Benny's is still open but its definitely not the same place as before. Basically legit.

Ben Ny's sucks so much these days. Overrun by foreigners with no respect or manners, not mention no more cubicles or privacy. Everything is out in the open, you can see everything going down. It's very uncomfortable. Some guys from Singapore were strutting around last weekend bragging about how they only tip 100 because they are superior over Vietnamese race. Reminded me of Korean men to be honest. Time to venture out and explore as Mutant Chicken advised. I've seen some places around Phu Nhuan area I think have promise. It's a pretty sad public scene out there right now as recent posts attest. However, as Mutant Chicken has written, if you take the time and go a considerable distance from the center and can speak some Vietnamese, there is stuff out there. But it does take a lot of work and it's hot and dusty and not everyone has the time or is up to it. I think everyone's best bet is to find a friend or two or three and make your personal arrangements. This won't really help short-time visitors who still have few if any options. BTW, you don't have to be shy about making offers to girls here as they won't usually be offended as girls back home. If you see they are attractive and working in what you know is a very low paying job, be friendly and see what's possible.

Tay Ho MP is in the airport area, price is now 800 for any places in that area.

I think the bribery money jsut got a lot higher nowadays. It was only 600k 15 months ago. It is still a good deal tho, no haggle, fixed price and you get choices.
