Magnum Sauna Club?
Has anybody been to this place yet? I was looking at their website and it looks like only non-alcoholic beverages are covered in their 50 euro cover charge. Odd when their competition usually includes beer (with exception). They also list a garden and what sounds like a large 12 person whirlpool but there are no photo's of these on their website.

Speilbank
Sorry off Topic but what is the story with the Casinos in Frankfurt? You will need your passport to enter and there is a dress code. I don't know what you want to play, but you can probably find it at Speilbank Bad Homburg or, better yet, Speilbank Weisbaden, where they run Hold 'them cash games and NL tournaments virtually every night. You can reach both places via public transport (e. G. S-bahn) and there used to be a shuttle bus to Speilbank Bad Homburg from right in front of Frankfurt Hbf.
If anyone is interested in understanding why Germany is NOT Leading Europe to recovery, you might be interested in reading the following article:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17889665
Quote: "One Spanish minister compared the country to the Titanic and had a warning for the Germans: "If there's a sinking here, even the first-class passengers drown."
If I have to read another foolish statement about Germany trying to lead Europe to economic recovery, I think I will explode.
CD

don't take the banter too seriously. Don't explode. You serve a greater purpose on this board. :-)
The article is more about France's political posturing against Germany. A quote from the article you linked,"In the eurozone, deficits are being reduced. But debt. In many cases. Is still growing. Growth is almost non-existent. Recession has returned for countries like Spain and Italy. The gap between the German economy and the southern economies is only widening."
Thank god for Germany. :-)
it's actually forbidden for any Norwegian citizen to buy sex abroad in another country, even if it is legal there, like in Germany. How fucking lame is that?
Do you have any example of Norwegians be caught abroad and fined for buying sex. (Thailand, Germany are obvious destination.)
I know prostitution is legal in France but brothels are not. Are brothels legal in Belgium?
Same as in France. Prostitution is legal as well in Belgium, but pimping and brothels are forbidden. However Brussels is known to have a much better designated RLD area than I. E Paris.

Just to make sure, it is spelled Wiesbaden and Spielbank. Actually the casino in Wiesbaden is in the "Kurhaus", a very nice building. Te adjacent restaurant is "Käfers", good food in a nice environment.

Kaefers is great food, for sure and served in a top environment. I love the wood carving in this Spielbank! But, to be honest, there's better food for less money in Wiesbaden, if you know where, or care to schlepp.
But for low buy-in (75euro) Texas Hold 'em tournaments 3 x a week, the Spielbank Wiesbaden reeigns. I often spend one of my nights re-charging in Wiesbaden in between multiple session nights at BHH or Pohlheim.
Just to make sure, it is spelled "The" adjacent. :)
thanks. Too big thumbs for my tablet.
Kaefers is just a nice environment, food is ok, expensive, drinks are too expensive. Lot's of nice restaurants, bars and bistros in Wiesbaden, in the old part (Schiffchen) , also at Taunusstrasse.

HB
Been a while since I was there, but I remember it being pretty tasty. Never had to pick up the check, so I can't comment on the value aspect.

Still, no one's hands are clean in all this.

Nobody, except from the MP have ever been fined for sextrade abroad. Impossible to survey what Norwegians do abroad. It reminds me of a fun story I had after this stupid law was effective three years ago. I met two dudes from Norway in a brothel, and I went to their table and introduced myself as a police agent undercover. Asking them for their ID, papers and shit! You should see the expression on their faces, I'm still laughing of this episode. It was particularly funny since they were in a brothel for the very first time, so real newbies!
