Received my renewed Laos visa and passport for another 30 days, now extended until April 5, 2025.

Still here in LP awaiting my package before I return to Vientiane.

Interesting story, met a Swiss bike-packer who rode his bicycle from Switzerland to LP, entered on a visa-free exemption. He asked the visa official but was denied an extension, told if you wanted to stay longer than the visa-free exemption days you must apply for a visa before entering, they do not allow you to extend your visa-exemption. So the guy needed to leave Laos within 3 days or face a fine or about 100,000 or 200,000 kip per day.

Good to know for the future.

Visited Lung Prabang in January. Overall I just LOVED the place. It is the 2nd largest city in Laos. And there is NOT A SINGLE TRAFFIC LIGHT! It is sooooo laid back. Stayed a few kilometers from the Night Market and walked there every night for dinner. Enjoyed people watching and visiting with the "corn lady". Tried several food stalls. All decent.

Tried Nana Spa and thought it was a mistake. Girl took me into a curtained off section on MAIN FLOOR which seemed less intimate than upstairs. (I think I read there was an upstairs.) But after I put an extra 400,000 LAK /$19 USD (I think!) On the massage table next to me things went in the right direction. Ended up with a very nice hand job with her tongue flicking my nipples. Even got a few very light kisses on the mouth. After we finished I gave her another 100,000 LAK /$5 USD. She was a cutie. And I was rewarded with a kiss full on the mouth. I sense that if I returned I could have maybe gotten even more.

Boba Spa is the only place I found for full sex. Different price for Laotian vs Vietnamese as only Vietnamese give BJ!? Or so I was told. 800,000 LAK Laotian /1,000,000 LAK Viet. Took the Viet option and it was OK. I prefer having a girl come to my hotel. But this was done in a room where she was clearly living. It had her luggage and a bunch of costumes on a rack!? Anyway, this place is tucked down a dark street DIRECLTY BEHIND the tennis club. I didn't find it the first time I looked (walking) because it was down around a corner. But as I was heading back to the main street I saw 3 small groups of girls going the direction I had come from. So I circled back and saw where they were headed. Viola! Boba Spa!

Again, Luang Prabang was such a relaxing place. Reminds me of Siem Reap 25+ years ago. Without the temples of course. But the waterfalls were worth the trip. They were beautiful. LP is definitely on my list of places to visit again.

Went to Honey massage, picked a cute girl for 600 K kip. Her name is Fong. Similar to Platy's terrible experience. She didn't shower. She laid there like a dead fish, refused to move or do anything. When I asked for BJ, she said she doesn't do that and scoffed like I said something ridiculous. I've never met any provider like this. Usually there were some minimum service, like BJ with condom, a bit of HJ to get me started or a smile. Nothing! My mood was ruined. I just asked for massage and it was meh.

Do all Laos girls don't provide BJ or just some of the girls? I rather pay more like in Vientaine's Massage Loc Phac (Vietnamese chicks only), with some basic BBBJ and massage (even though wasnt good, but at least they try).

I actually paid a girl 600,000 kip, she refused to give a BJ, refused sex and did not let me put it in. Because I paid before. Big mistake, rookie mistake, in the end I just asked for a regular massage. The massage was actually decent for about 20 minutes, but overall bad experience. Whining, refusal, almost like they want you to just force yourself, which does not make it enjoyable either. I would say my entire experience in Laos amounted to 1 decent girl in Vang Vieng, 2 in Vientiane, 1 in Luang Prabang. The rest, maybe 12 girls, all terrible, could barely finish at all.

Yeah I also made a rookie mistake by paying her upfront. It was so unexpected that they don't want to work and just want to take your money! I had an okay experience with a cute Vietnamese at Loc Phac in Vientiane. I think Vietnamese has basic training and they're slightly managed better.

Going to BKK tomorrow and can't wait for all the options and services over there! My favorite place for mongering in the world is still Brazil. Service, passion, prices are unbeatable!

It seems if you want easy women you have to pick them up in clubs, discos, know common friends, and take them out at night before taking them home. The regular game, which takes time, money, and effort. Mongering is cheaper but overall worse results in a country like Laos. Who knows, I still managed to find some good girls but the success rate is low, and not for someone who is in and out in a few days.

Has anyone explored there? Seems like a mysterious town of various international crimes. There must be some action there.

Vang vieng have a few massages around Sakura bar with FS at 600 k. If the masseuse are young and don't wear uniform, just approach them and ask if they have special.

I said no I want that and she said this shop is massage, you want the other shop. So I went in the other shop and the mamasan used her phone translate to say "You want girl?" There were three girls. I asked how much - 1 million. Really? Can it be cheaper? No. How long do I get? You come down when you're done.

There are two massage places, one on either side of the M&M hotel. These shops have cute young girls. They will give you a HJ for 500 k. I did find that BJs are not so common in Laos. Neither are they overly keen on DATY- but once you open their eyes to this pleasure, their mood certainly changes for the better.

Honey's is very basic and so the absence of a shower doesn't surprise me. Most girls there, on most days, do not expect to have sex. And this can be both part of the problem. And the excitement and challenge.

Has anyone visited Boten recently?

Doing a short trip to Vientiane next month (only 5 day), and was thinking about shortening my time in Vientiane to doing a 2 day trip to Boten.

Train there and back seems pretty straight forward, using the usual hotel reservations sites there aren't many good hotels (only see Starry Sky Resort, that might be ok. But seems fully booked for March) and haven't seen any high praises for the place where P4 P is concerned.

Mainly a trip for something new and hopefully exciting.
