Yes there were hardly any seats available the few times I rode it. The other problem with it is gaining access to boarding platforms. You need to find a bridge on the via expresa that has stairs leading down to the platform. That can sometimes mean walking for blocks until you find one.

Most of the time I found myself needing transportation on avenues tacna or abancay...far from the via expresa.

It's great for people who travel long distances but it doesn't make my life as a monger any easier.

Most of us living/staying nearby Cafe Z use the Ricardo Palma station. If you are staying around San Martin and areas south then use the Benavides station.

Most guys staying at the Penthouse are using the Ricardo Palma station to:

Lima Day 1:

My Spanish is good, not great, but I'm able to communicate fairly easily in Lima. Started around 11pm on Pizza Street. I visited the infamous Tequila Sunrise in Lima. You pay a small cover which entitles you to a drink and then descend downstairs to a bar. The place seems much bigger than what it is due to the presence of mirrors. The Peruvian women are not nearly as hot as the Colombian women but they seem a lot nicer and warmer.
