Its simply you choose a girl that you like or appeals, and then not always surprised to learn that she is not so cheap. In gogo bars however, I rarely negotiate a price. It seems that it is expected I will pay fairly. Even my most recent Baccarat girl who could not remember me from a previous year when I went with her, did not negotiate the short time price.

Okay true the prices do vary by location. A girl who cannot stand the idea of working in a regimented gogo bar even if free-lancing could go for less in her chosen free-lancing environment. Why she would want to go for half price is a little hard to understand, other than as you say too many girls and not enough customers. Once girls know they are well above average they will start charging above average though, unless they are too shy to do so.

I am certainly used to the best lookers in Soapies being generally significantly more expensive than the plain Janes.

I was only recommending that someone might want to take a look, if you have no desire to do so no problem, you seem to have the whole BKK thing worked out to your satisfaction, congratulations to you and enjoy your experiences as you see fit.

And at 4PM.

And also at around 6PM.

And again at 10 PM.

And sometimes at 2AM.

Plus or minus an hour or two in any direction on any given day.

My report was based on my visit to Bangkok during low season and at that time most of the bars I went to (and high end massage places like Nataree since you mentioned massage places) had more than 10 girls for every guy in the place. Baccara probably had 30 girls for every guy. I think with this kind of man to woman ratio there will be plenty of girls who do not get picked, and at bars like Baccara and Shark where there are lots of good looking women it would seem many of the hot ones might end up not getting picked on any given evening. My guess was maybe the girls in Soi Cowboy would spill into a nearby area after closing, just a guess and any additional input based on your experience is welcome.

If you have valid intel on where the unpicked hotties go after Shark and Baccara close please do share with the rest of us as I am sure it would be useful info for many of us and greatly appreciated, if they do not fill the area surrounding Cowboy as happens at Nana Plaza then by all means tell us all where. If it is inconceivable that they might pour into the surrounding area Nana Car Park style I understand, but where do they go? Tell us, Harold, for the love of GOD, PLEASE TELL US!

This would be useful information that some of us would be interested in, so please do share some of your knowledge. So you have never seen a FL on Suk you would be willing to pay for, I did not see anything in Rainbow 4 I was willing to pay for, I think we may call the rule of "to each their own" into play here and move on, although I bet if you showed me the 2 or 3 girls at Rainbow 4 you thought were beautiful and if I showed you the 2 or 3 FLs I found among the hundreds on Suk that I thought were beautiful I would bet we might find some common ground.

For the record, I did see a couple of great looking girls at Rainbow 4 (though not nearly as many as at Shark and Baccara) and went there mostly because you are constantly writing about the place. Did not take anyone from Rainbow 4 or any bar because of the high prices and was able to find ladies just as lovely in both NCP and on Suk. If you have not had the same experience I understand and empathize, but surely you realize that just because you have never seen or experienced something does not mean it does not exist?

I stayed in Nana Hotel. Not the best hotel but the location is great and I liked walking past the freelancers in the car-park whenever I went anywhere. Most are quite rough of course but I saw some surprisingly nice ones. One evening I wanted to take a photo of the new Nana Plaza sign for my diary but when I zoomed in I noticed that I had also snapped various freelancers in the car-park. It's not the best photo but the girl in the leopard-print top was pretty. She was young, had a nice body and if you put her on stage in Rainbow 4 with a 2500 price on her head, the class clown would be drooling!

No tips for me on this subject?

I like the idea of feeding them things that make them explode as this seems to be good fun, and if you can simply blow their little minds and render them incapacitated that is always pretty neat too. Or maybe it would be more entertaining to just laugh at the silly pigeons until they leave voluntarily?

I am Indian. Working in Middle East. Today I am starting about my trip to LOS. There are 3 reasons for that.

First, I have seen mongering scene at Bahrain, Dubai, Delhi and Kathmandu. With my apologies to all most of blogs / websites and forums seems more biased and full of information by interested parties possibly attached to hotel and tourism industries.

Secondly there is lot of racial remarks. Stinky, clumsy, cheap Charlie Indian. I had not found so in Middle East or Indian subcontinent. I went to Thailand. I was expecting that lots of girls and gogo bars will refuse to entertain me.

Thirdly you tube / forums and blogs are farang dominated. Internet is not monopoly of farangs; lots of Asian, Indian Iranian and Pakistanis do go and want to learn from net.

LOL.[/QUOTE]They are out there, you will have to walk around a bit which honestly sucks in the heat and you have to keep your eyes open but in my experience / opinion there were 2-3 keepers out of the hundreds I saw on the street each night.

Worth it if you enjoy the hunt, I enjoy walking and looking for hidden gems even if I do not find any but yes it is much easier fish-in-a-barrel hunting if you just go to a nice air conditioned bar, sip an overpriced drink and pay the extra money for the barfine. As I mentioned earlier, on my next trip I will be focusing more on bargirls and will probably take them from Shark, Baccara, and Rainbow.

I love the thrill of finding a bargain, but if there were none I found worth doing on the street of course I would have paid the extra money and taken the girls in the bars, I am not exactly a Cheapie Charlie (I do not haggle, I am happy to spend money on the girls who I have been advised will be amazing performers at places like Snow White and Devil's Den, I tip well when it is well deserved) but I also see no point in being a Wasteful Wally and overpaying for something that is available just outside the bar doors (or within a short walk) for far less.

We are a rather eclectic group. Mongering is about the only thing we all have in common. You'll encounter some great guys and some total a$$holes; most of us fall somewhere in between these two extremes. We fight, bicker, insult and occasionally try to be helpful to one another. If you're diligent about RTFF (taking everything you read with a grain of salt) and ask intelligent questions, you will learn a great deal on this forum and have a much more enjoyable time in Thailand.
