Too many punters and / or not enough girls.

Back in mid-2000's, there were still decent looking girls in beer bars, and Beach Road was often a (cheap) treasure trove.

The decline was fairly slow, but apparent around 2010. Until about 2012, I can't say I ever had a bad mongering trip to Pattaya. Until then, a doable girl every single day off Beach Road, Walking Street or beer bars was almost guaranteed. After that, it was hit and miss, with occasional decent finds, but by no means guaranteed. Since 2014, I can't say I met any truly memorable NEW girls. A few of the ones I met prior to 2014 keep working and remain good, and some of the new ones were passable (in terms of looks plus service combined), but not a single one would compare to a few dozen truly memorable ones prior to 2014.

Back in the heyday, I would often not even take a phone number from a good looking girl giving a great experience, since I assumed I could find her again anyway, and if I couldn't, there were simply too many to choose from.

Briefly, there was a slow decline up to 2012, followed by a fairly rapid one afterwards. This being Thailand, very few things change overnight, but it's obvious that Pattaya's days as the mongering paradise are numbered.

I stayed at a small hotel off 13/2 near the Post Office, and was able to pull nice freelances off Beach Road for 600-700 Baht. For pure mongering, I found Pattaya to be far, far superior to Bangkok. And if you like disgusting, then Walking Street in Pattaya rivals anything in Nana or Soi Cowboy. I had girls in some of the Walking Street bars sitting on my face for a reasonably priced Lady Drink.

I would just say: Pattaya is still the best place since you can still get very beautiful girls mostly in GoGo's and discos and they come with a higher price than they used to have in former times.

For example on my last stay in January this year I still saw very beautiful and memorable girls but in GoGo's and disco's only. The most memorable one was from Sensation's a GoGo and would have gone with me for a total of 8,000 THB.

But Angeles has 3 things I like better:

1) The girls speak English.

2) Go-go girls are less expensive.

3) Angeles has Texas hold-em poker.

Yes, I know some people are going to whine because the old Angeles vs Pattaya is being repeated, but "humans tend to repeat themselves".

.[/QUOTE]You just spoke my mind, Green Bud. And it kinda forced me to prepone my general writeup of the weeklong trip to Thailand which ended last week, it was my first time of course.

Just a few general notes before detailed reports of the individual places and girls later.

First I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the good souls who share their wisdom on this forum. There are a lot of legends here, you know who you are. You guys are very lucky and I am jealous.

1. I am not new to mongering. But after a few years of dry spell, Pattaya simply blew me away. Nothing prepared me for the sheer number of women, the variety, the different venues. It was just too much. I can't get it out of my mind. The hotties that I liked but did not bang before I left Pattaya for short of time are giving me sleepless nights.

2. Thai girls are really really HOT. No offense but when I browsed through hundreds of photos in galleries associated with ISG Thailand forum, I actually asked myself if I made the right choice. Because some of the girls and their bodies in these pics were just butt ugly and I wouldn't fuck them with my enemy's dick. However once I landed, it was just amazing. Were all the girls hot? Hell no, but it is not as bad as this forum makes it to be. The constant comparison of today's Pattaya with the 70's and 80's is not really necessary. There are enough hotties for everyone. And even if a few are not interested in you because of your race or whatever, there are still an awful lot of HOT girls to be had. I like girls with white skin and the options are endless. I was spoiled by my 10+ year long stint in the US where I visited on average 2 strip clubs every weekend. The kind of girls to be had there, nothing can come close. You are not going to find those girls on craigs list, back page or escort agencies. I really was spoiled, it cost me a lot of money but I do not regret it one bit. Even for someone like me, Pattaya was a shocker. The openness and the quality of girls you can have here for just under $200 is just mind boggling.

3. Why on earth did I not know that some of the Thai girls have a good booty! OMG, did I hit a jackpot or what? I did not have a hint of what I was about to see in the beer bars and gogo bars. Some of the girls with small hips and tits had amazing booties. A 20 year old that I saw in Windmill, I still can't get that sight out of my mind. She could give the juicy latinas of Houston a run for their money. Perfect buns for the asslover.

4. Indians. This actually needs to be on top but whatever. Being an Indian is a disadvantage. That's an understatement. In fact if you are part of the 90% horde that smells like curry and walks around with a beer bottle yelling at each other and haggling endlessly with the girls, then please stay home. There are enough Indian restaurants on 2nd road and beach road to fill every hungry indian for eternity. We don't need to indianize a beautiful seashore any further. I have never been so harassed in my life for being an Indian. Guys constantly shoving needless shit in my face and yelling at me from the other side of the road to eat at his joint, asking me to share a ride with them. The list is just endless. I am embarrassed and just disgusted in general. 90% of these guys could not get a Visa if they have to submit their financial papers, a lot of them are traveling for the very first time on an airplane and their first time overseas. Plus they have never seen girls in such a setting before. I feel for them but to bring a million plus bottom feeders most of whom come straight to Pattaya is going to ruin the identity of this city. I have seen it in the US at multiple hotspots for Indians and how it turned from a quaint suburb in to a mini India in no time. Guess what? It drives everyone away and I hope the government does something sooner than later.

Sorry for the rant and probably many reading this might think I am an elitist but I am not a rich guy trying to stonewall a poor guy from having a good time. I am just saying people who do not have manners and money have no business to be here.

With that said, if you are easy on the eyes, wear clothes like you would wear to an informal party, are well mannered and can spend around 8-10 k Baht a day, there is still good time to be had in Pattaya, even if you are Indian. I just followed the routine I used to follow in the US strip clubs. An Indian guy enters for the first time, he will be the only person not to be disturbed by the white girls for lap dances. But you behave nicely and tip generously on and off stage, girls take notice. And when you visit the next day it is just another world. We had amazing times in couple of gogo bars in Pattaya just being nice and generous. Ofcourse we were denied entry to Peppermint and may be another club I do not remember but we just swallowed our pride and decided to check out other places. Was it embarrassing, yes. At the end of the night I still banged a beautiful 20 something old gogo dancer with a body to die for. That is what makes Pattaya memorable for me. Even an Indian can have a good time here, with a few strings attached).

5. Sex is cheap in Pattaya, don't give me flak for saying this. For 1000 B, there are still decent looking girls to be had. Ofcourse the hotties in gogo bars and soapies command 3-5 k or more but deservedly so. Not going in to the supply and demand curve and economics, it is what it is.

6. Baht bus is a lifesaver, never thought getting around would be so easy. The mild weather helped too.

7. Being in late 30's, all the travel and non stop action for a few days takes a toll on the body. I really wish I knew about this paradise of earth when I was in my 20's. Better late than never I suppose. The massage parlors in this case are a godsend, especially the 200 B feet massage and head massage that makes you sleep like a baby.

8. Will I be visting again? Hell yeah!!

Angeles City is a contender, but on close examination doesn't come anywhere near. The sad thing is, Pattaya in 2017 is so much worse for mongering than in 2007, in almost every way (price, selection, looks, friendliness, service), but I guess we have to accept that our options are narrowing, worldwide.

As for 8,000 THB, that's serious money, for a bit of a poke and squirt. In that price range, I'm fairly sure you can find better looking girls in many places elsewhere (say, Macau or Singapore). If you got good service, [I]maybe[/I] it's worth the cost, but there are no guarantees, and I wouldn't be too eager to drop that kind of money on a barely-average Issan farmer's daughter. Let's face it, that's the category even top A Go Go girls fall into, without the beers, bad lighting and makeup -- not even cream of the crop of deepest darkest Issan, let alone Thailand. Their advantages used to be being cheap and friendly, but being top-class pretty or even especially skilled in bed was not a strength even in the good old days.

Today is Wednesday 22nd November, and ASEAN Navy Review is finally over. According to reports, Beach Road has been cleared of freelancers for several weeks now.

What does it look like now that the review is done? Are the girls starting to go back? Is Beach Road back in business?

Economics- Thailand has developed dynamically in terms of GDP per capita over this time period and price of all services, including P4 P, have gone up. If anything the price of p4 p has risen at a slower pace than the costs of other goods an services. Though Gogo prices do seem to be going through the roof.

Technology. A lot of girls have taken to Social Media and find it an easier way to find customers than sitting in a beer bar waiting for a customer or working a goo go. Social Media can be a pain in the ass and time consuming. But it can be damned rewarding.

Venues. There are more gogos and discos than before and the girls seem to prefer to work in these over the beer bars. So many of the beer bar complexes are just empty now- of both customers and girls. The larger ones like Drunken Street seem vacuous. I'm not sure how many days these places have left.

If one adjust to these new realities and accepts the higher price point than very pretty GFE girls can still be found in Pattaya. And discos, like Insomnia and Ibar (and now Lucifer!), where you can pick up a very hot girl for 2-3 K for LT GFE are still a a fantastic value.

Just my 2 baht's worth. Stay horny my friends. And enjoy Pattaya to its fullest.

I have been to many countries, from UK Dubai to Korea Japan, Malaysia etc. But never seen such a cheap and smiley humble girls. I was in Thailand for 10 days, and I was so angry on myself, why I used all my shots using my hand. Never the less it was great. The thing that separate hookers in Thailand from other countries is manners. I had sex with a big ass Iranian fro 700 baht until I ran out of condoms and had girl with me for three consecutive days unlimited sex and things. I just wish Korea to Bangkok ticket could became more cheaper so I can come to Thailand every month. Sex and Korea is so expensive and like fucking a dead fish.

But I agree gogo prices getting way to high and hit and miss with the girls almost not worth the effort except maybe to watch. Beer bars are OK just way too many IMO but great for going and playing pool buying some drinks.
