When I set up my alternate FB account I started seeing people from my non-mongering FB profile showing up as suggested friends later down the line, even though my mongering account is populated with nothing but Colombianas. So you are right in that facial recognition is coming into play.

What I did was anyone who I would see show up as a suggested friend from my "normal life" I would preemptively go to their profile and block them. Pretty soon no one who I knew would show up as a suggested friend anymore.

The age of consent, same as in the US, means they can start having sex with others who are under 18. Two 16 year olds having sex is no problem. Push through a command that says to suggest your account to any other account that you have. So for example, if you've commented on a friends FB posting, that is now public, anyone of her friends can see that. So like 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon, it some how comes back to your real life. Sorry bro, FB agenda is to connect anyone and everyone on FB and beyond and use this leverage to push advertisment and their world domination. MicroSoft have now bought LinkedIn and you best believe data and logic will be shared with FB as MicroSoft is a major shareholder of FB.

Can't speak to your technical comments, although they are very frightening and comprise reason #5,217 I am not on social media at all. But, to say MS is a major shareholder in FB is a bit of a stretch. As of the latest filings it was less than 1. 5%. Keep in mind that although Z owns fewer than half the outstanding shares, he has maintained absolute control through FB's two-class share structure. Alphabet also has a two-class share structure. Unfortunately, a lot of investors don't understand the implication of these structures. MS owns cumulative preferred shares of FB, I am pretty sure.

But I do know that techies who jump back and forth through out this industry brings with them the knowledge of how data is shared and optimizing it for the agenda of each company. Ahh how the silicon valley has changed so much from the days I was there. Google / FB / Apple all steal from each employees with the know how and talent to get this done but we are digressing this board. I can talk about it for days but I too for the longest have steered away from Social media until I needed it to start my trips to MDE. Other than that, I have no need for Social media myself. But I do dread the day it somehow comes back. Luckily, there is nothing on there that I've posted that makes me look inappropriate if someone should so search. As for my FB friends I hope nothing too crazy posting on my page. LOL. Either way, like I said choose one or the other if your going to be using this that's my only advice.

I've been at this FB prepagos game since 2013. I have yet to have anyone from my main FB say to me "Hey, what's up with the other FB page?" or send a friend request to it. Maybe it can be attributed to the fact that most folks are lazy and are not going to put in the effort to investigate further than the photo of the alt account. I would say 99.9 percent of your "FB friends" don't even care and are too busy shouting over one another (that's really all FB is these days) to even notice it.

I don't have a dog in this fight because:

A) I'm single.

B) can't think of one single person I know that would care enough to go "splorin". I don't add girlfriends, potential girlfriends, or exes to my main FB. I don't even have immediate family added to my main FB.

C) I take common sense privacy approaches to the dummy FB account by locking down my friends list and timeline (meaning you have to be a friend to even see who's on my list and what's on my timeline. And it's set to "friends only" so no "friend of a friend" can view my shit either), not allowing people to find you by email address, etc.

Another Hack: “Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile?” NO!!! Turn this off.

I also don't have anything on my timeline other a few photos of myself or memes that I have shared. No photos with me with any chicas or crime scene photos of drug, booze, and sex-filled orgies with "tha bros". The alt account is for networking only.

I don't really want any person of my real life, or any of my serious girlfriends, or even any of the Colombian hookers I met in Cartagena or Medellin, to discover I have tons of girls in Indonesia. Not even I would like that my girlfriends may get in touch one with the other.

That's the profound difference. Nobody of the persons on my phone contact list can see who are the others. Could you imagine that?? The same paradigm is applied in Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat. Facebook is different. They WANT your friends get linked together, and anything to impede that is made cumbersome on purpose. Because it's a networking thing.

Well, I don't want my friends do network together. That's my private world. So, bubye Mr. Zuckerman.

You understand social networking better than most of the others who have been contributing to this thread. The fact of the matter is all it takes is one stray click and all your contacts and the contacts of your contacts can see your entire history. You have to be extremely careful. I don't personally have the patience or energy for it so I leave it alone.

Age of consent is 14 and the law has no stipulation that you must be close in age for it not to be a crime.

What the law does say is that it is illegal to have sex with anyone under 14 and that is is also illegal to coerce, intimidate or entice in anyway a person under the age of 18 to have sex or engage in any sex act. That is why it is illegal to pay a girl under 18 to have sex or to even to give her an unsolicited gift.

But this is all academic, because the minute a Colombian police officer catches a gringo with a minor. The gringo is going to be arrested and charged with sexual coercion. Just so they can take as much money from him as possible.

I've asked girls in my puta friends list (that's not what I name it) if they can see my pics of me and my kids or my college pics and they say no. The putas also cannot post on my wall and NO one can tag me unless I approve it. I have had many friends try. I'm sure if someone has the skills and are used to cracking into FB sections, they can, but I'm not really concerned with that level of intrusion. I'm concerned that my cousin or my HS Physics teacher can't see the pics of young Colombian girls in bikinis with the word "Citas?" across their stomach. And concerned that when I post Happy Bday to my mom, some puta won't post "Que linda, papi!
