I slept well in night and got up at 9 am. 18th may. Took bath, shaved and came out of hotel. In last 2 days I must have crossed 10 times subway but never saw Elena as mentioned so much in this forum. As usual men were on streets showing photographs of girls. After breakfast I took taxi with my luggage to go to Chinatown. Being Indian we have lot of weakness for fair color. I had very friendly relations with 3 Chinese girls in Dubai.
I had read a lot about Chinatown in a thread. TheplazaNaNa had uploaded few videos in you tube also. For me accommodation meant keeping passport and luggage, few hours sleep and bath. So I had booked one place which was at unbelievable low price. Taxi dropped me around 100 meters from Inn. It was not in alley but sub alley. I met the person running show. A young man from south India. I wondered what he was doing here; He must be roaming around the world as backpacker and now started a small venture here. He was quite helpful and courteous. There were only 2 more people in that inn at that time. Both European. I tried to understand his business and he said that overall not that bad. The place has plus point of it being cheap, single room and free wifi. The negative points which I realized on reaching there were that it had no air conditioner and dogs at entrance to alley. Though it was 200 meters from yarawat road but after 7 pm it looked deserted.
Whole day I walked from yarawat road to Maitri road to metro station Hua Lamphong. After 2 pm started appearing streetwalkers and brothels getting opened up. It was lowest of low quality. Broadway hotel was centre of Chinese working girls. Everybody waved. All looked hardened working girls. One or two girls, with whom I could have spent time, were not keen to entertain me. One asked 700 and I offered 800 but my terms. They thought I have gone crack. In one soapy, I think Harlem, I saw good looking lady for 1200 and I showed interest. There was another lady who was getting restless to be chosen. I booked the girl and I found some baht were less. I went outside to jeweler shop for dollar change. By that time the girl got busy. Suddenly the lady in charge became rude. Even the cashier got puzzled why she was misbehaving. I took back my money. As it is said that bad day is bad and whatsoever you do, nothing goes right.
There was famous street food after 7 pm. Being vegetarian I walked down to little India, around 500 metres down the yarawat road and took my food. Back close to Texas hotel I found one legit massage parlor with cute girl. I resigned myself for traditional massage. The person sitting outside directed me down to alley behind Broadway Hotel. There one very young girl called me. I was desperate by this time and went upstairs with her. She took bath. Small girl. Ordinary looking but caring and friendly. Lot of kissing and after hjob, I left. She had asked for 500 baht. I gave 100 tip.
At inn I opened up before inn owner. Probably I should have not. He himself had not much knowledge about Chinatown. When his Polish girl friend was in town, he visited frequently discos. He said that he can talk to some girls, east European, and they will be nice for you. From Boss and CM2. He was not tout and was trying genuinely to help. I was not in mood now and said may be next visit to Thailand, I will approach him
To sum up in 4 words – don't go to Chinatown.
