That's correct, it's actually a very good security measure except when you really need to withdraw more. During the day, at the branch locations I have withdrawn morre than $3,000 with just my debit card and passport..But that's at Interbank which is the easiest account to get.

I get my coffee and go try to find a newspaper in the rack, and they immediately follow me and sit at the table beside the rack, inches away from me. They have no coffees, have not ordered anything.
