Yes, it is a secret. I don't like to popularise my favorite hotels. A few years ago I arrived in Pattaya three days before Christmas and this guesthouse that I normally stay in was full. They found me another place close by so I paid for three days up till Christmas Day. Then I went down on Christmas morning to extend my stay but they said sorry your room has been booked by someone else and you have to leave. Well, I spent hours trying to find another room, carrying all my gear on my back in the hot sun. All hotels said the same thing: sorry full. I was just about to give up in despair when I decided to try the Siam Sawasdee as it was big, and yes they had an available room. But I had to buy the silly New Years dinner which was compulsory. Decided to stump up the cash in case I ended up homeless again. So that is why I don't like to promote my favorite hotel: in case you get the last room.

But I think that the accomodation situation in the high season has lightened up somewhat over the last few years. Supply may be exceeding demand these days. I think it has to do with the collapse of the rouble and the diminishing number of Russian tourists mainly?

A couple of the noodle places in the back part of Avenue Mall near Soi 15 are good for 40-60 baht. Second best breakfast place I know is Retox Soi Lengkee. They have what's called the baht buster for 99 baht. If it doesn't fill you up you're eating too much. It's served until 4 pm. Highly recommended.

As for food courts in malls, when Pier 21 opens up in Terminal 21 you can get noodle or rice dishes for 25-40 baht. Hopefully Pattaya will keep the same prices and have the same vendors as Bangkok. As for Central Festival food park. Don't eat there it's a rip off.

For some reason the taste in food courts is often bland, but at least there is variety, cleanliness and convenience, eg in Big C. Klang. You see that not many Thais eats there.

Another thing I do and the ladies love is the "bagarin" restaurants at early hours , there is a row of them opposite Hollywood disco. You can have menu dishes or pot BBQ at the table. Today we had crispy morning glory and two large seafood spicy salads, the one in sauce was superb we both agreed. With rice, water, a large Singha bill came to Baht 430. Prices haven't changed in years, laid back place, zero tourists, what can you ask for more?

This was with a Red Car lady that I didn't see before, Dao, pretty face on a solid (not fat) body. She have man made hard boobs which do nothing for me. But she's nice to be with, friendly without being stupid, zero bullshit (well, she left way earlier than noon as promised, but i don't care anyway). Sex drive and endurance are Thai average (lowish) but can suck pretty good. Damage 2 K LT.

And the one in Central Festival is indeed a rip off and too expensive for what you get.

Mike's shopping mall has a slightly cheaper food court but the quality there is also below par.
And there's a rather expensive food court at the top floor of Royal Garden, but I never tried that one.

I've eaten there quite a lot in the past until I had enough of the lukewarm food that is often sitting in the bins for hours.

Typically in a Thai buffet you cook fresh meats and fish (actually your girl should do for you) on the BBQ (brazier / boiler), together with vegetables. Add mild / spicy sauces at wish. There are also pre-cooked foods like noodles, fried rice, meatballs, etc which get replenished often. Check out the many videos on YT.

How wrong I was, after ending being miserable too many times now I only use Expedia for my bookings and I do reserve in advance. For one, you can't beat the rates. And the guest reviews are totally genuine, for example both the serviced apartments where I'm staying now, as well Nova Express on 3rd Rd / Klang have ratings well above 4 which are absolutely deserved. If an hotel charges for guests or any other BS be sure you will read that in the reviews. I have Gold level, customer service has been always been helpful in the past, and reward points accumulate quickly when paying with an Expedia card and booking from the app, on average I get a free night every 10 - 15.

Day 1.

Landed at Bangkok after a bumpy red-eye flight from Mumbai. Immigration lines weren't long, and I was fortunate to get the faster immigration officer. It's an older property, and needs an overhaul to keep with the times. It is frequently by the group tours, where an overnight stay does no harm to it's reputation. Would not recommend. Surprisingly, saw many Russian (or maybe, Uzbek) gals staying there. Course, Indian dudes would never get a second look from them, sigh!

It actually reduces the risk of a condom tearing because most of the friction is at the tip and thus the point most at risk. You can also squirt some lube inside the tip of the condom before you roll it on. It will lube the area around the end of your cock and give more sensation. But it won't cause the condom to get looser further down the shaft. I recall some brand of condom came packaged with some kind of light lube inside the tip, but don't recall the name and I doubt they are among the better quality Japanese condoms that I prefer.

In October and November I visited Thailand with a pile of Trojan Bareskin condoms, both the standard size and the magnum size. I always use a bit of lube on the head, but not the base. The standard size came off three times out of about 8 uses. The first time I thought the girl took it off to make me finish quicker. The next time it came off inside her after I finished but hadn't withdrawn (the cum was inside the condom). The third time it came off during sex and fallen on the bed, I didn't realize what happened until everything was finished. When I switched to the magnum size, everything was fine. I still used the lube.

Even though the standard size condom was fully unrolled when applied, the act of sex tended to roll it back up. My guess is the lube near the tip caused it to slide off the last little bit. Having the right size helped keep it unrolled and the lube never became a factor.
