I write this not to stir controversy, but rather as another data point to add to this forum in which we all share our experiences. When we travel for this hobby, we all have different goals, expectations, budgets, and non-negotiables. For me, the goal is to sleep with as many top tier (by my standards) beautiful women I can in about 4-6 weeks. My expectation is that the Brazilian girls will live up to their famed reputation, and also that with quality research, I can find the experiences I'm looking for. My pre-conceived notions of a solid budget were poorly framed as I quickly realized that one if one has certain tastes, you will have to pay. Without delving into the socioeconomic and racial realities of Brazil, if you are looking for top shelf brancas, you're going to have to pay more and go to different places. Yes, you can find quality brancas in places like VM and darkside termas, but that takes effort, which brings me to my final point. Some things are non-negotiable for me. Quality and convenience are non-negotiable for me once I have done my due diligence research of visiting all the places that must be visited (hence why I went to VM and the darkside termas previously). I do not want to spend my days and nights looking for what I want. I want to show up to a place with the types of girls I am looking for and enjoy myself in a safe, comfortable setting. At the end of my trip I will write a sort of all inclusive newbies guide to Rio, with a focus on the aforementioned subjects, so that those with similar tastes as mine can plan their trips appropriately. This is not to attack or otherwise insult the wise gentlemen of this forum looking for a bargain deal, but rather to more easily lay out the options for the lazy monger, like myself.

This monger seeks the adventure and finding the diamond in the rough because he is appealing to his primal nature that may not be as active in his other life. He seeks the best deal and always wants to come out on top. I could be wrong on this, but it is a thought I had recently. Again, this is not an insult to anyone, but rather my musings of an explanation to describe some differences in perspective among the members of this board. There is no right or wrong way to monger in this regard and I mention it to add perspective the next time someone decides to chastise another board member for doing something like "overpaying" or refusing to go to a sketchy part of town. On the same hand, it also serves as perspective to defend the monger who puts in the work for us all and goes above and beyond to find all the best deals and locations. I am grateful for the latter monger specifically because it is he who paves the way! He is the Lieutenant Rowan, if you will.

The night starts with MiamiBoy informing me he is on his way to 4 x4. Upon his arrival, he tells me that the quality is not that great but he will wait it out for a little bit. I use the opportunity to bite the bullet and head on over to MC, just to check the quality before perhaps going to Solarium or Centaurus. Once I get to MC, I quickly change into my robe and head upstairs to the bar to grab a beer. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as the quality was much better than anything I have seen thus far here in Brazil. I think my first trip to Solarium would be comparable, but alas it was weeks ago and my memory on the matter is not that reliable. There were perhaps 20 girls of which only 2-3 I would not have sessioned with. Keep in mind gentlemen, if you haven't been able to tell from my reports thus far I am very picky. Now, I think the session is going to be ruined since I basically just slashed this girl's perceived earnings a bit. But man was I wrong. We got to the room and she put on a show. It was a cross between GFE and PSE the whole time. The girl brought out all the tricks. I am not anxious, but of course I expect some hassle of a gringo tax or whatever. Seeing the bill, I am floored. The numbers couldn't be right. I had the entrance fee, a few beers, a water, 40 minutes with a girl, and the standard room for about R550? Every time I've gone to 4 x4 I've basically paid the in the R400's range for the same thing. Sure, most of the time I've drank a little more but the marginal difference here was unbelievable. At this point I'm thinking there's no way MC is only slightly more expensive (I. E. 20 USD) than 4 x4. What did I miss the first time? Oh yea, I had a threesome in a suite for an hour last time I was here LOL. I examine the bill closely and it is indeed accurate, as each thing is itemized by the price. I pay, walk out the door, and give the doorman a small tip. I head back to my hotel to write this report.

What is the takeaway here?

Well, it is just another data point. I had a good experience at MC for only a fraction more than what I've been spending at 4 x4. This just goes to show that experiences vary. I am happy I went and it was money well spent.
