The guys sounded a not so educated type and so I cut the line due to a previous bad experience about two years ago, where I confirmed for two tries with the dealer, but when I met the girl she disagreed. She even called the dealer and gave him a mouthful and told me that she was the decider. It was too late to retreat as the cash was already in her hand.
Anyway, back to this experience. The guy called me back, said he was the assistant and nothing to worry. Directed me to a CMB 4 Apt saying it was safe place and only the girl would be there. So reached location, no check-in as Apt security was lazy, walked direct to lift and apartment. The girl opened and welcomed me, though she was similar looking to the picture on the ad, she was not the same, a few shades darker, longer and tinted hair. The only common thing was the slim body shape and height. Inside, the apartment opened direct to a room with another door on the far end. So I questioned whether it was an apartment or a room, she said that the room is rented and the other door is locked and not used. At this point, I must mention my carelessness where I failed to check the door.
As per my usual practice just when I was handing over the cash and repeating my agreement with the dealer; she made a fuss saying that she gets too little for two tries and that she didn't have any customers for the day and wanted me to give her something extra. I said that I had an agreement with the dealer for the 12 k and I will not be able to give her anything extra for two reasons, because it was more of an upfront request plus any other cash and wallet are inside my car and that I would have to go get it. She whined again and I said I would have to go to my car. Just then then other door opened and there was a guy (there wasn't even an unlocking sound), who asked what was the problem in a stern voice. I think the girl and the guy know this game. For some reason, they thought I would go to the car and get the extra cash, but I had no plans of the sort after the surprise entry. Last thing I was going to do was to go bring extra cash, I got into the car and hooked off.
My point here is that these apartments may be operated where not just one but one or two others may be providing service, which means you can bump into other mongers, or other mongers may be loitering around for their turn etc. Mongering ideally is a lonely and secret mission, and it should be so. Therefore, you need to check on these details, because possibly a neighbour may even alert LE and they may raid at the most unlucky time that you are there.
I wonder what were the experience of fellow mongers when it comes to LAds services. I have come to the conclusion that these apartments are risky. My analysis is that these numbers are all a network of dealers who happen to have apartments in CMB 3, 4, and 6. When you call they, ascertain your location and direct you to nearby places, in some instances according to availability, price, or specific requirements.
