Sosua Reports

Ok. Here is the deal. I should be shot. But I am such a cheap fuck so things like this happen all the time! I get some last min. Vaca time so I book my flight over the phone (I looked at some flights so I did have some ideal what I was getting into) I ask what are the prices from miami to SDQ and miami to POP and I get 400 to SDQ and almost 600 TO POP so I think maybe I have seen its a 50 cam ride to sosua and maybe 2 hours. After I book I get home and do more research (I know research first than buy) and it looks like its a very long way and sosl cab ride is out of the question so the tour bus looks like is in my future, so what I am asking. If you know or have made this same trip. What will I need to do. Do I take a cab to the bus station, do I board the bus at the airport, or can I fine a taxi for under 50. 00 and if I must take the bus. What am I looking at as far as time goes? Thanks in advance to who ever takes the time out to help me.

The chicas all net work and as a result of this recent clamp down by the new police force in Sosua their lying low till the heat settles. My only question is what nights did you go out to the clubs and experience this low turn out on the Chicas?

Take a cab from the airport to either the caribetours bus station or metro bus station in santo domingo most cab drivers should know the directions.
Concerning how much time it will take to get from santo domingo to sosua it depends when you are going to fly into santo domingo, cause traffic can be a pain in ass in santo domingo especially during rush hours.
Last time i took the bus it took me round about 5,5 hours to get from santo domingo to sosua.
I suggest you take the metro cause the metro bus will drop you off right in the center of Sosua. The caribe tours bus will drop you off in los charamicos and from there you will have to take a cab or motochonco in order to get to the tourist part of the town.

A ticket from Santo Domingo to Sosua should cost between 250-300 pesos (7-9) dollars.

Well, that's it. After several trips to the DR for various reasons, I have to say I will never return to Sosua again. I have been all over the island and I can assure you that Sosua is truly the sewer of the DR. This time I went to Sosua planning on staying for 4 days and left on day two. I could have easily left on day one. BTW, this was my 4th (and again, final) trip to So-Sewer.

Its the same tired scene, the same tired putas (OK, an ocassional new one but rare to find one unjaded after the old putas fill them in), blah, blah, blah. Its even getting old watching the same sterotypical tourists being stupid. The ex-pats there have a good source of toto however. Its the benefit of living there.

If you speak Spanish, have even a little game, a sense of adventure and can be discreet with the girls (they DO have their pride), go to anywhere else on the island. BTW, you don't need "game" in Sosua, just cash :) Even a middle aged old fart can pull beauties with these few skills. Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata are crawling with beauties on the streets, in the stores, near the universities, etc. I was in two other smaller cities this trip and it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

If you don't speak Spanish, don't have game or are a newbie, then I guess its OK. Just wear your "puta shark repellent" hahaha. BTW, Rocky's is great for breakfast and ribs, the Brittania has good burgers (as well as Herman on the beach) and the French place next to Brittania is really great....good food and nice owners.

Am now in Sosua for the first time. It´s like a mini-Pattaya. As a newbie here, I won´t attempt to comment at any great length. The girls appear to be generally more hard core than in Lima (where I live). Not as GFE. I´m sure there are exceptions. Unlike Peru seems that a majority have pimps behind the scenes. Maybe involved in the monger rip-offs which sometimes occur.

Sitting at the bar at Merengue makes me think of all the guys who visit Lima and complain that there isn´t a "shooting fish in a barrel" scene except for the dismal Tequila Rocks bar. These guys would love Sosua. Like Bahia Boy says, anybody with some bucks can have a real cutie, no problem...just like in Pattaya. The first two girls I was with didn´t give me the time we had agreed upon (two hours)...after an hour got fidgety and wanted to leave..to find another customer I imagine. I didn´t pay up front but I wasn´t in the mood for confrontation. Something to keep in mind. But then I ended up with what seems to be a keeper...a GFE, so we´ll see how things work out with her.

Walk to the far end of the beach away from Sosua to Charamicos. Spend some time walking around (daytime only, nights can get rough). I know you're Spanish is excellent so you'll have no problem finding a cutie. Plenty of girls there are game, but wouldn't be caught dead in Sosua. Again, they do have some pride. Also, try Monte Llano about 5 miles outside The Sewer towards Puerto Plata.
I would keep that camera in its case for the time being. I'm sure there will be some "copy cat" putas looking to score in the same way.

Ok, got it. Island putas and rejects wind up in SO-Sewer. Regular mujeres that are LatinEuro fine can be had elsewhere, but only with Spanish skills, (which I'm working on but come so slowly!). Sosua is what it is, a puta town. You want to vacation where you are able to pay for pussy, i.e. monger, Sosua is a town for you. Most guys who travel for sex and all the ones who visit sites such as this one know that going in so what is with this obsession with finding a "regular girl" once they hit ground. There are an infinite number of destinations where you can go and not be inundated with hookers. Find such a destination, pick up a copy of Lonely Planet, if it is to your liking, buy a plane ticket, book a hotel and go pick up "regular women" to your heart's content. Leave places like Sosua for those of us looking for P4P fun. We go down, party and bang some hookers and go home.

Well I don´t know how things are at other times of the year..but it looks to me like the ratio is about 20 to 1, girls to guys...so I don´t notice a lack of choice.

I only came for a few days on the advise of Sidney who I spoke with in BsAs a few weeks ago. Told him I was thinking on visiting Ghana for a change in chica ethnicity. He told me I was a fool and should just go to Sosua. So here I am. I´m having a good time, being a lazy monger. But the normal girls, those in the shops and restaurants are extremely friendly. I can see that getting out of Sosua one could probably do as Bahia Boy says, and end up with some prizes. Maybe next trip.

I have been surprised by the prices here..just had a three dollar ice cream cone. But the beach is nice...almost no tourists there now. Someone said its polluted. The water looked beautifully clean to me and there were fish swimming happily along...so I would have to disagree with that statement.

As far as the $3,000 photo comment. The girl who I spent the last couple of nights with appears to be somewhat different from the other working girls. OK, everyone is thinking.."yeah I thought david_33 had it together and has enough experience not to be fooled", but I´ve checked out her story and it seems to be genuine. She is studying engineering at the University in Puerto Plata. The place where she was working closed down and being three months behind in her university fees she was facing the end of her studies having been called in to the the director´s office and given 15 days to find the bucks and pay the debt. Enter a girl friend who studies with her and always had nice clothes and money. Told her what the deal was and brought her to Sosua a month ago. First night she met some guy from Germany who like the majority of us here, didn´t believe her story either. She spent a week with him and he paid the money directly to the university.

She doesn´t need to work all that much in order to come up with the university fees and living expenses so shows up once in awhile. According to her she had only gone out with about 6 guys until she met me. Back to the $3,000 photo. She told me that since she doesn´t have a "chulo" and isn´t addicted to coca like many of the girls who work here she doesn´t have to go out all that much. She tries to pick a guy who seems nice to her. If not, she goes back home without working. She told me that a couple of weeks ago she met a guy who seemed to be nice in Classicos. He was with a friend and the friend´s chica. They wanted her to go back with them to Caberrete (sp?) a long drive from Sosua where there isn´t any public transport at night. The guy said he would pay her $100 for four hours. The other girl said the guy was OK, so my friend accepted and they all took off for the apartment. Got there and the guy started disappearing into the bathroom frequently. Turned out he was snorting. Ergo, couldn´t get off. The guy was, according to her, pounding away for more than three hours. Couldn´t get off. Since the girl is relatively inexperienced the guy´s dick started hurting, guy keeps pounding away and nothing. The four hours have now passed and the girl says “sorry, times up got to go”. Guy gets pissed gives the recepcionist $20 and tells her to call my friend a taxi. My friend hears this and sees that she is about to be stiffed. Tells the guy that she was with him 4 hours and he owes her her $100. Turns out that she has an emergency with her mom and really needs the money. The guy says “screw you” I´m a tourist, call the police I´ll say we didn´t do anything , I don´t owe you a cent and nothing will happen to me”. The girl is now freaking out, but had had the intelligence to keep the two or so dirty condoms…(without leche, but dirty none the less) as evidence. Cops come, the guy is obviously still coked out of his mind to let things go this far. They all go down to the station. Turns out that the Lieutenant in charge is a distant cousin of my friend. Both freak out…”what are you doing here?” She explains the situation, says she was visiting Sosua with a friend and a guy offered her $100 to spend some hours with him…and the mother´s emergency, etc. etc. So my friend fills the cousin in and mentions that the guy is high. Now he is in deep sh** because of drug possession. The distant cousin asks her if she wants more than the $100, she says no, just what the guy promised her. The guy gives her the bucks, but the police have now called the fiscal and the guy ends up having to pay $3,000 to get out of the mess. This seems to be the magic number. I´m telling the story the way she told it to me. Seems to be true…but who knows? This dude obviously is not an ISG member because NO ONE who knows ANYTHING about how things work in Latin America and the Caribbean..or any country with a “dubious” police force would risk a run in with the police just to be a big man and not pay a girl $100.

When she told me this story I said..”$3,000..hmmm I heard about another guy having to pay $3,000 a week or so ago”. She said…Oh the photos. Anyway according to her all the girls talk about everything so I´m not surprised that she knew the story.

Sounds like she might be telling the truth. Maybe not. Who knows. However its allways good intel to be on the cutting edge of the chica buzz this way hopefully you can smell a scam and exit if you suspect you are being set up to be encapsulated in one.
