Getting ready to visit Paris for the first time. Quite experienced in Bangkok, in case anyone has any questions. Was wondering:

Are the RLD areas of Paris, like Rue Saint-Denis, Pigalle, or Pascha, as dangerous as I've read? Curious to check it out, but certainly don't want to be looking over my shoulder all night.

There's nothing at rue St Denis, except some old women who are working there since 30 or 40 years.
Pigalle is now a tourism area.
If you like asian type, you can try your luck at Belleville area.
If you want a girl in Paris, better to book an escort, but be ready to spend 250 for 1 hour.
