Sosua Reports

I was in Thailand and Cambodia last month and had two girls I spent a lot of time with who informed me that the men just don't do DATY just like in the DR. Both of these women after DATY the first time treated me like a King and drained me royally!

He got to Sosua and went dark.[/QUOTE]I am alive and well in Sosua, getting ready to check out of Europa and move to Casa Cayena for the next 3 nights. I've been out and about doing my own thing. I guess it's time for an update.

First night, Wednesday, was a wash for me. I checked out Rumbas for awhile, but wasn't feeling any irresistible urges. Plus, one chica kept trying to latch onto me and she was a major turn off. If she was back in Indy, I would suspect either meth or Crack was a major part of her diet.

Thursday I moved to Plaza Europa, in my opinion a great place to stay. After getting moved in, I spent most of the day walking around town, including a trip to the private beach. Had a good lunch at El Rancho and got a long distance flirt from one of the girls in the kitchen, but she was too shy to come out, even though my waitress tried to drag her out. After lunch I let myself be talked into a massage at the place just up the street. I was surprised, the massage was excellent. The finish wasn't a surprise, but it was better than I expected.

Took a few more walks around town and headed to Chez Mon Real for dinner. Food was great, but the displaced crackhead from the night before found me there and took a while to get the hint. Decided to call it a night and save some strength for the weekend.

Yesterday I took a walk in the other direction, past Passions / Amazonas, which looks ready to open, all the way down to Dulce Secreto and back. Had lunch at Bailey's where a lousy waitress spoiled a great meal.

I stopped in at Ramona's a few times for a beer, and had a good steak at Sinatra's. After dinner, I still wasn't feeling too excited about Sosua, so headed back to my room. After a bit of relaxing, I flipped a coin and decided on one more beer at Ramona's.

After the beer I walked down to Rumbas to enjoy the eye candy. As soon as I walked in, I saw the crackhead, and headed to the end of the bar to avoid having to deal with her again. A few different women approached me, but nothing I was interested in, until a little Indian looking girl stopped by.

She was persistent, but in a good way. Finally I decided to give her a try, and walked on back to Europa. She put on a believable act, or I'm really just that good. She wanted 2500ST, I settled on 2000. Afterwards I walked her out, she didn't ask for anything extra, but I did give her a cheap dress I had brought for a cupid chica. I'm sure she'll be wearing it tonight.

I think my mind has finally adjusted to Sosua. I prefer quality over quantity. There is such a quantity here, that I had trouble getting interested in searching for quality.

Now to see what tonight brings. If you see me, say Hello, I'm the tall white guy with the goatee, glasses and dark hair.

Dominican women are very style conscious. Everything from hair to body maintenance. They try to stay current to all styles and fashion. No matter how poor they are they are not deterred. They want to be as current as possible.

I just left the ATM at Banco Popular. I took out 10000 pesos and was charged 175 pesos (which will be refunded by Schwab at the end of the month) for the transaction. My account shows a withdrawal of US $223.71 so I got an exchange rate of 45.48. I have no idea how that is even possible seeing that the current interbank exchange is only 44.24. The exchange places are giving 44.

Finally got a chick after 3 am last night when Clasico let out (I did not go inside the club). She agreed to 2000 TLN hasta la manana. I asked her until what time will she stay and she said it did not matter. I said well let me take a picture of you now in case you make problems later.

Once again shit turned south after the deed. She changed to 2000 pesos is only until you finish the first time. She said if you did not finish yet then I would still stay. I tried to negotiate with her, offering 1500 but she wanted the full 2000, saying she had to pay taxi to get to the club and 200 pesos to get into the club. I was like what the fuck does that have to do with me? If I did not take you then you would be in the red. Why am I expected to pay more because you had to give money to some other mfs earlier? We had a standoff for a while and I even tried to get her to get the police involved but she would not. It was 4:45 and I was dead tired so I was like FTS and just gave her the 2000. I could tell she was sincere in her arguement. I speak almost fluent Spanish, but I guess she only understands fluent Dominican, hence the misunderstanding.

As many guys have said before it is a good idea to only negotiate short time when you meet someone; that way you don't get into the mixup that has always been my only problem with girls in Sosua. Also not a bad idea to get them to write the amount and until what time they will stay. None of that vague it is up to you and whatever time you like stuff.

A lot of chicks are asking 4000. Ran into another guy after he came out of the club and he said a chick even asked him for 5000. Also met a guy yesterday who said he gives them $100. Could it be that this type monger is becoming more prevalent so the girls are spoiled? The time of the cheap dates may be over and with a decreased quality to boot.

On another note after the club let out I ran into a guy who I met through Wrx last time. The cops drove up in front of the club and jumped out. One of the officers was a female. And dude cold pushed up on her and got her phone number. Fuck the police!

As long as I pulled out $200 or more I came out ahead after fees.

I feel pretty good about getting 44.50 in San Pedro, just wish I had changed more there.
