Nothing wrong but its okay to register the guest in case she has an ID. If she doesn't have an ID you will have to ensure either you can dump her or don't get caught by security between coffee shop and the room.

Those guys are paid employees & you are the guest who is paying for the room. Treat them the way they should be! Meaning thereby, treat them with a degree of respect due to any fellow human being, but convey that you are the boss & they are the staff. Next, always safer to recce a Hotel before you use it.

I am letting you all in on a trick & please no PM's naming other Hotels. In the case of this Hotel, the best bet would have been you registering yourself & then accessing the Upper Crust. Guest should have been asked to meet you there, unless she was the obvious street walker kind. There would have been no obstruction at all.

Remember there is no 5 star Hotel that is legally girl friendly. The indisputable fact is, no male guest is really that straight forward, as to not wanting female company, while on a business trip. Hence, there are several methods. As a matter of fact, in the Hotel you mentioned, there are some regular guests who are aided by the bell desk / concierge as well!.

Somehow cracked this name but I did have a text sent by them earlier through their message system which do text visitors new spa / MP infos. Dint click its the same place.
