As a recent visitor to Chennai who sought help, I must admit I got 6-7 guys responding to my PM suggesting Spa or Indes. So help wise, although no help finding gems like in other cities, basic level of help and response is there.

However I do feel that few SPs are also posing as people wanting to help and share contacts. Its absolutely fine as I'm not judging. The only thing is it takes away the true concept of Indes.

My complaint was a general one and as I noted is not unique to Chennai. There are folks who post their conquests in all the gory detail and then are not willing to give any pointers or directions. When I am not in Madras, I don't mind living vicariously through these folks, but, it does feel like some of these escapades may be products of vivid imagination. Clearly, posts like that don't serve the purpose of the forum. It becomes more glaring in a place like Chennai because the demand far outstrips the supply. But, there are helpful folks on here and I don't deny it at all. We lost a good one from this forum because of unfounded complaints and I am still a little miffed about that.
