The uneven distribution occurs if the cutline is not accurate, so for example a nurse in a hospital may not cut an unscored pill as the is no way to be sure of the exact dose the patient will receive, especially if it crumbles on cutting. The idea that there is some machine that can redistribute ingredients after a pill is formed is bizarre. Show me a URL from an authoritative source that explains this magic.
